but saying that they are not confident in wow anymore is bullocks, but in reality since they are creating a new MMO I'd be in their best inresst if people left wow for that.

Aion may eat at wows population but only way wow will die if blizzard kills it not a game thing wow has been out longer and has a way larger player base...

What did I saw wrong?

Aion and WoW cater for totally different audiance. Just like McDonalds and a Restaurant.

Everquest is still being played
AoC is still being played
FFXI is still being played

No one was killed D: except when the company pulls the plug.

I am sure Blizz will release the big Icecrown raid against arthas the month Aion is released, making sure some people will stay to see it.

You know that WoW was originally designed for just around 250,000 players?

Even if 90% of their playerbase leaves (which realistically won't happen), they will still have a pretty lucrative game in their hands.

The only thing WoW should be afraid of is Blizzard's new MMO.

everyone has their preferences,but saying the game are as wide apart as a McDonalds and a resturant is stretching it way to much.

Also I prefer homemade, and if you ever come around my house, you WILL prefer homemade ones, or things will get nasty.

WOW is slowly going down but will never be dead unless they decided to pull the plug. Which i doubt will happen unless they are releasing another massive MMO to take its place.
