Aion in perspective feels like im playing in a very small area not even the size of a small area. Given this fact its even odder when you see all these diffrent area's in one small map. Your walking through a forest and suddenly it becomes a desert.

No offense to Aion's level designers but I don't feel any imerssion or cohesion between the maps.
thats what i mean. you can have 100 zones t explore...but if each zone is 1 mile big...it doesnt "feel" big.
id much rather have "big" areas than little areas.

now some say "oh well by making the area small, its more detailed".

really? do you REALLY stare at ALL the little pixles? i think not

Of course. Its not about the number of zones. Its the zone design thats important. If you see something like a mountain or a forrest you should actually be able to go there. You should not run into a invisible wall if you try. You should not be forced to stay on a road or intended path when you travel from one side of the zone to the other.

Thats linear zone design and it makes no difference if there are 10 zones or 600 zones. You will still feel like on rails all the time.

Aion you have lvl 10 wings then abyss lvl 25 to end level with minor wing updates?
WoW was equally as redudant in leveling alts as any other MMO I've played. Personally I've always found after playing a main to the poin I felt the need to make an alt, seeing the starter world again really was never that tedious.

You have 2 zones 20-25 (one of them pretty small).
