Will NCsoft have the option for your char to transfer servers?

hi guys,

does any1 know that if ncsoft can change/transfer ur char to other servers like in WOW if you pay some fees?

i.e in US server, changing from server 1 to server 2???

From what I have observed from past games: Don't bet on it being available at launch, but you can be pretty darn sure it will become possible after a while. Either because the game is popular and servers are overcrowded or the game is not popular and servers are too low in population

I'd expect at the 1 year mark, but very doubtful at/near release. It suggests the game is unstable / servers aren't created equal. (whether or not its true ).

the reason i ask, i got two diff groups of friends playing (Aus group and US group). cos if i play wif my aus group, and if they quit, i will be playing alone. tats y i want to know if i will be able to transfer server to join the US group.

my aus group prefer to play in a server wif mostly oceanic ppl.

Oh that won't ever be possible from how it looks.

AU and US are covered by different divisions and therefore essentially two separate entities Although they are the same game, they are run by different companies/sub-divisions and they each have different infrastructures ( and likely different internal patches of their server code(s). Along with this, you have different keycodes to the game itself which activates you into either region.

1. They do in Asia, IIRC.
2. Try to co-ordinate your servers better with friends.
