After level 10, I've been running around in a trio.
We kill the crap out of everything in our path to get to the mobs we need. Doesn't matter if it's non-kos, kill it if it's there. Don't ninja around it, kill the damn thing, that's what the mobs are for. I'm almost 18 (stupid 4th of July holiday) and still haven't run out of quests. I've never NOT been on a quest as I'm killing something. |

I agree, the game seems to need more quests, or more XP from rewards. I spent my beta weekend leveling with a friend. Which btw is probably the best way to level, me being a healer and him a glad. It seemed to work a lot better then solo'ing, because we never had to stop killing anything. Even after that fact though, we ran out of quests at 16 it felt like.

Getting quests has nothing to do with luck, Dseiger. It really is just that the OP has failed miserably. The quests don't start running out for many levels to come... at the rate that they're increasing the beta level cap, we probably won't even get that far before retail. There are times when you have quests that are a little difficult (like fighting something one level higher than you... oh trauma of traumas), but you'll always have something to do. Even if it's just the campaign quest laughing at you because you can't find a party to kill the Mau's at level 19, it's always there.

![]() Holy crap! You people want everything handed to you on a silver tray eh? First of all, ther was not one moment that I couldn't solo the quest lines from 12-15. There was tons of content and everything was designed well and overlapped seemlessly. If you are having trouble learning your characters skills in combat then I suggest that you group with someone. The real challenge didn't start until the compaign in Algard progressed to the lvl 15 campaigns in which a few more people are necessary. Especially when fighting the elite black claws. I teamed with a friend and we made it through all of the quests except for a few at the end of the Altgard campaigns where we needed more people... and for awhile we had 5 people having tons of fun in black claw territory. |

Do every long quest chain you can find, at times they dont seem like they would be worth it, but getting 50k-100k xp for the end of it isnt so bad

I never ran out of quests, and I believe even in 1.0 the levels 1-20 are comprehensively covered for campaign and normal questing. Be sure to return to towns and isolated outposts alike as you gain levels, as the same NPCs may suddenly have quests for you at a higher level. But I'll admit, I can grind. I like the combat, so I'll just sit there and roll through tons of mobs every now and then. So maybe I didn't notice a 'missing level' for quests, as I leveled through it elsewhere. I just know my quest log always had stuff to do till 20.

I have my toon from last beta, and silly me, I did a bunch of quests while I was already capped at 10.. so I missed out on a LOT of exp this time around.
Make sure you get quests from everywhere. There's the observatory, the little trading posts, and the area above the colleseum looking area. Yes, I grinded a bit, but I was also unaware of quests that I could start. __________________ ![]() I'm an Asmo, hear me RAWR! |

I dont believe what im reading from the OP and from players that agree with him..., really i hited lvl 19 and always had quests runing...during the process i helped my legion mates to make their quests and they helped me doing the hardest ones(group quests), until now i found game perfect in terms of quests !
I told in other threads that people must put in mind that mmorpg is not for solo any solo lover will fail to achieve any end game goal, at higher lvls ppl will need to grind ...grind is not that bad if you have group to have fun and ventrilo or team speak runing with your legion members to suport its makes a game totaly fun! This game until lvl 20 its a lot friendly user hope it get a bit harder at higher lvls the weakest players will quit just like the weakest animal in chain food dies...,resuming to have fun all the way to top lvl better get a legion or if people whant to solo better go play single players RPG ! |

You must explore...some NPCs in buildings, out in middle of nowhere, may have quests. I got to level 18 and had 7+ quests in book; there were more I could grab but I didn't because I had plenty to focus on!
Also, grouping is good. There doesn't seem to be much, if any, exp loss...if there is it's made up for by kill speed increase. If you find yourself grinding(which you shouldn't at this level) then this is the way to go. Or...play a spiritmaster and use DP pet buff, continuously. Makes damage skyrocket. |

A few times i thought i had ran out of quests, only to have the last quest in my journal end conveniently at a new hub. If you run out of quests its likely you missed one a long the way
