Stop comparing stuff over lvls 1-20

You can call me an idiot or whatever, but Im just gonna get it out even though this post won't be read by a lot of people who needs to read it.

Ive seen so far what... following kinds of topic:

I have achieved Abyss rank X over beta
MY thoughts on lvls 1-10...


Most of these threads start with "I've played for 2-digit hours..."




OK. So you've rolled an Assassin. You got your 1337 lvl 14 gr33n g34r and feeling ready to whoop azz in the Arena. You walk in. Suddently your char becomes orange-ish color, then you die instantly.
Next, you show up on the forums then QQ about how this class sucks.



What you should've done is make a RvR PvP Chat tab and drag it out, and make the text color Red so you can see if you are about to come under a Sorc burst chain, then use focused evasion as soon as you see delayed blast usage.


So you've rolled a Ranger! You got your 1337 +0 green bow ready to kick some *** over in the Arena. You walk in, you attack a Templar then get owned.
Next, you show up on the forums then QQ about how their dps is fail.



Rangers never attack Templars. Even in the Abyss, Rangers avoid Templars. The end.
Ive rolled a ranger, it might be that I have +10 bow that I can hold my own against 2 Temps of same lvl tho. My 130-160 dmg bow also 1-chain kills sorcs for the lulz.


Your Cleric is on a roll with those heals! You show up on the Arena, but get 1-chained by Sorcs or Knockdown spammed by Gladiators. Then you show up on the forums then QQ about how their defense is fail.



Go into flight for the lulz. Its only because you are maxed out at lvl 20 at the moment. At upper levels you will receive many instant cast DOT and Heals (ie FoR), and when under attack they shall never use those 2 second spells.


So you've achieved Rank 8. Nice job. But showing up here on the forums then posting a screenshot of how 1337 you are is



If I wanted to achieve high Abyss ranks on this BETA, I'd be rank 5 right now. But that would be a huge waste of money.
If you've achieved rank 8, really, nicely done, but dont show up on the forums then show it off then claim you are 1337sauce.


All classes have the ability to wtfpwn at lvl 50. Go with what you've decided at first, and work for it.

My personal favorites are the"This class sucks" threads. Nothing shows you the incompetence of some players (until they actually LEARN how to play their class) than reading a nice "my class sucks because I can't beat a xxxxxx" thread. The basis for their arguments are low level PvE and 1v1 "PvP".

1v1 is NOT PVP it's called a DUEL!! Lower level PvE is a learning experience. For example a Chanter does more damage with his regular "attack" than most of his abilities early on. So the "Button Masher Army" comes here and complains how bad a class is because they are out of buttons to push while the mob they are fighting is still alive.
