Can someone explain to me why China has to pay per minute?

Do you know if these are going to be coming in cards? Like game cards for WoW. I'm a private*** and dont like using my credit card.

Something regarding not feeling you have a monthly job contract with the game.

I like their system though, if we ever see this on West P2P MMOs the age of diversity could be born. No need to feel bound to a specific MMO if you don't wish to, just purchase an hour package and that's it, play it whenever you feel like it.

Obviously they shouldn't take out the monthly subscriptions, otherwise the hardcore ones will rage, why the heck would they get increased costs because of being loyal to the game.

Seeing both in the P2P genre would make me weeeeeeeee in happiness as I would be able to have a main MMO subscription and many others with hours ready for whenever I feel bored and need some change.

And I hate F2P games, thank you.

I believe its due to the government regulations that China places on its gamers. They aren't actually allowed to play very long at a time so a monthly payment plan isn't as fair to them as the hourly plan is.

Considering NCSoft already sells game cards for their other games in 7-11 I would say yes.

Have to say that this has NOTHING to do with the OP, but I'll answer anyway.

If you look at NCSoft's website, other games do have the game cards. And I THINK they had a game card option when I did the preorder. I'm using my debit card, so I didn't pay that much attention, but I do believe it will be an option.

I actually think China has the right idea, allowing adult accounts unlimited play while un verified childrens accounts have X hours of play a day before getting nerfs to exp. No 14 year olf kid needs to play aion for 15 hours a day. Ever. Actually, neither do adults, lol.

LOL, wow that's off topic.

But the pay per minute is actually very very cheap, you get a LOT more play for your buck unless you play 18 hours a day lol.

Yea minors can only play for a few hours a day.

I like both paying plans myself.
