What do you guys think of an aion video blog site? Where people can post video blogs or written blogs of quests / features that they have found in the game?

Just wondering because I have the hardware to do it and the bandwidth. So just want to see the publics views on it before I invest.

I wish I had someone to talk to, or something to talk about, and the equipment to talk into to do podcasts. I don't look good enough for videocasts.

Lol, I don't think looks matter much; More like personality I would have to say. Like my boss for example, I'm trying to get him to do a tech-blog video / podcast thing because his personality is absolutely hilarious, but he isn't the sexiest dude on the planet.

Also: It doesn't have to be a video of you sitting in front of your screen saying Hey check this out! It can be just a fraps video with commentary talking about this quest that your doing and how you completed it. Almost like a video tutorial on quests instead of it being written out. Else you can blog a written one.

Podcasts is a great idea as well - Thanks for the input.

I strongly vote for a podcast, first because I love them and a lot of the time I don't want to actually see people, I'd rather hear them while I'm farming something in game... Blogs are cool, but they are not as handy or fun as podcasts, and there will be a handful of them after Aion's release including mine ^_^"

Podcasts though there won't be very many I'd wager.

i was thinking of doing something like red vs blue and have a 20min ep each week. it would be fun to recorded the adventures some people have and it would have all sorts of things in it like faq things to do like highest place to jump from and die it would be funny

That's so great, maybe you could set up a ventrilo server and have someone just record you talking with people you know over the net. That reminds me, I have a funny recording of Greek people yelling at each other

. The problem is, converting the ventrilo recording file to mp3 or something. >.>

Now I've got to do something with it. Disturbed also has an idea for another domain, but I won't post it for fear of someone buying it other than him or me.

Mostly considering buying ClipShare for AionTube.com and having it be AionSource.com's (and the entire Aion fan community's) montage dumping ground.
