i do find this mildly encouraging although obviesly a real pain to deal with. In the most basic sense it seems as though ncsoft is tighting the belt on control of who is doing what. I honestly dont think that nc banned you cause you wanted to play in another country i think nc is putting really stringent controls on this game so they can further attempt another botting disaster (seems to be what L2 became) not that this is a great help to there cause but they are putting a message out that they are taking extra precausions this time around... Then again i could be totally wrong.

This is stupid, only MMO i know that would try and limit its player base?
I played FFXI, servers were global, JP,EU,NA all mixed and it was good fun and no lag issues. When an NA friend (i am UK) and myself finally quit FFXI and went to try WoW I went NA retail copy / servers.. I really don't see why they would ban people for this, if an EU wants to go NA and vice versa so what.. as I said I did it myself in past MMO's so I could play with a friend. |
