Non NA residents have accounts banned!

Like I said, they may well be banning foreign IP's, in which case, when you are back in the states, they will probably unban your account since you'll be using a local IP

To the idiot who downrepped me for this post: You might need to learn how to read, cause it was actually by asking if only one person was banned that we later found out it was only one and not all. And we could thereby keep everyone from freaking out about being banned, as they wouldnt be.

So anybody who has done it the traditional legal way, bought it from American physical copy reseller, where the physical copy will go trough customs when arriving, rather than deceiving with proxy the company online shop, that is not allowed to sell directly "tax free" client to EU in threat legal consequenses from EU, and still gotten their account banned?

Basically it would seem concerning those who bought the digital version from NCsoft store and already have (had) a fully active account.

Pre-ordered ones, have just beta accounts so it wouldn't concern them (yet).

This is outrageous. Every time I read about the trouble NCSoft is giving cross-region players, I'm more tempted to cancel my preorder and gripe to everyone I know. I'm a permanent resident of the US playing on US servers, but I won't give money to a company who persists in cruelly violating the principle of letting friends in different countries play together and such.

I don't think that buying a Digital NA copy, from NA is "not the traditional legal way".

Ah yes, because there are already people with accounts made with a box that won't be shipped until release. *rolls eyes*

It would be more useful to ask whether anyone has been banned with an account created using a non-NCsoft store digital purchase, like from Direct2Drive (I believe they are the only ones beside NCsoft to have already sent out full working retail keys)

As a gamer in Norway ( Yay for being outside the UN ^.^ ) I don't have VAT's imposed on me and I have a fully active digitally bought US version of the game bought from NCsofts site.

I believe the EULA says they can do this... But they can of course change it or allow it anyway if they want.

I did buy the digital version from NCstore and I have fully active account and Im not banned (thank god).
