same, but i didn't mean ads for cb. they were throwing ads for the actual gold during release. I don't see how you really need to buy gold for this game at all. Atleast not yet i don't see.

I dont recall the link about this topic i read earlier, but I am pretty sure it has some pretty bad loopholes to permit gold selling still...I may be wrong though

Much love.
Beautiful post... Reminds me of the gold farmer/bot account banning rampage on Guild Wars a few years back... Man those were good times, it always brought a smile to my face to check the latest news and see that another 30,000 accounts were banned for gold selling

In the Kaion you have a few groups of 5-6 peoples that farm the abyss since lvl 25 ( they are now 50 ).

And some class like the rangers and glad felt they had to spend up a lot of real money to be at the top of their games to FARM AB.

The cleric 50 is the one who is writing his story.

"I'm mostly geared up me with Abyss Gears and my mates also

(most of my mates are from daoc we played together for more than 2years)

we are hardcore pvpers.

And Aion's pvp don't take much time to die or kill except fight against Templar.

This video showing particular situation that we bursting all of our ability and skills

include DP skill, some Artifact(like Shield of Abyss, 7000 damage absorb)

to beat massive enemies.

Mostly up to gear's setup. Theres tons of variety to setting up your toon spec with mana stone.

To be best pvper usually needed 2-3 full sets of gear with different mana stone specced."

"It may sounds like better gear give you better chance to win easily. Can't deny it but its quite complex to make best spec"

"AND ONE IMPORTANTEST THING

: Who I called as DPS classes are the Korean Grinders on Ranger,Assassin,Glad mostly

(Templar rarely included in this category who spent about 2000$ for his toon)

They used to Grind real money to Kinah(Aion Gold).

They equip weapons that worth about 400$-1000$ there's some variety.

But Aion's dps class's dps is up to quite much on it's Weapon especially

(my mate Ranger using Bow that bought on about 800$)"

But it's common in korean server. For most Korean player who playing dps classes

are using those kind weapon and gears. Weird thing.. They gonna sell their home and car i think"

you won't be able to eliminate "kinah buying"

but worry not, NCSOFT will definitely restrict "kinah buying"
I believe they will ban suspicious accounts once in a while

Actually, though i dislike gold buying in games and have never done it in the 11 years ive been playing mmos, its beneficial to you even if you dont buy gold.

The reason is it causes inflation on the player market, but not the npc market!

This means that if a crafting item you gather you can sell for 10monies each at release, you can sell for 50 monies each after gold sellers have inflated things 5 times over... its still the same on the player market (things now cost 5 times as much, you sell stuff for 5 times as much), but that npc bought thing, such as wings, or some crafting material you buy, is the same price! So its effectivly 5 times cheaper!

Same with teleports and such.

Ofcourse the trickle in of raw money from mob kills/quest rewards skews this slightly, but it is true if you are one that buys/sells lots of stuff on the AH, and gathers mats to sell for profit.

This is a true fact. I'm going to be honest, when I played lineage long ago I bought adena a few times. It completely ruined the game for me. So much in fact that I deleted all my characters and started over from scratch, but the damage had been done and I quit soon after. People will buy in game currency it's the way the world works, but if you really want to enjoy the game your playing and be proud of your progress: DONT!

Then you go to buy something a week later, and your money isn't worth the amount needed because the economy has inflated further to everything being 7x the original value. You sold all your stuff at 5x value, and now only have 5/7 of the amount needed to get an item you want.

See the problem here?

Money comes from that "trickle" you're talking about. Anything else not to an NPC is just changing hands . MMO's naturally suffer from inflation, but someone who buys gold doesn't care and causes extra artificial inflation, screwing everyone who doesn't while gaining an unfair advantage through no effort/skill/gameplay of his own.

It certainly sounds like in the Asian MMO, Kinah buying is pretty normal, and is a lucrative RL way of generating money. I hope that is not the case in the US.

It takes a lot of effort to fight goldbuying, though.... and it's impossible to get rid of it entirely, anyway. Still, if NCSoft is serious about cutting it down for the NA market, ti'll be good for us all.
