NCSoft gave up on Lineage 2. They do need Aion to be a successful MMORPG though, and are given a second chance to prove people wrong.

Im going to pay a bot 15G for a frost lotus, over the super genius on AH selling lotuses for 50g.
I honestly don't care if you have a problem with it, materials are not worth more than people are willing to pay and people overpricing are being greedy aholes. I'll pay less, he'll get nothing - we both win.

I think a lot of the issues with bots aren't that they're there, but that they "ruin" the economy of whatever game they inhabit. I still maintain that as long as people pay them, there will be bots. It remains to be seen what kind of economy with flourish in NA and how NCSoft deals with bots.
