Player Crafting?

Will this game support player crafting such as building weapons and armor from ingots that you mined?

yes, there will be 10 professions. You can collect materials from ground and there will be some special mats in the air too. No more infos we know about crafting.

Somewhere I read where players can choose a profession to craft. And ony with this craftable profession you're able to support yourself all the way up to 50. Sounds nice, right? Hope this is true

They're trade skills, available to anyone who wants to choose them (you don't have to be a specific class to craft)

So although the exact means are unknown, we know that there will definitely be crafting of some sort. There are some concept art that's about crafting too.

Don't say that. I don't want WoW 2.0. I want a new game with new concepts and a fresh feeling. No WoW clone.

and i want a blueberry muffin!! but we cant all have what we want!! but i can!! because i help run a coffee shop!! and i can just go take a muffin!! but for you, you get WoW 2.0, muwahahahhaahah!! but seriously now, im getting a muffin, and i agree with you 100%, no wow clone, although im sure some aspects will resemble WoW, i am so glad that aion is breaking the fantasy mold by creating there own setting, not using the typical "elves, dwarves, orcs" material that has been done to death game-wise.

om the interview it says aion will start off with 10 trade professions 3 of them i think are jewel crafting armor and weapon crafting and salvaging i've also heard of a future aion expansion that will bring house construction.
