Hmmmm ok.....

I've heard of lower players taking on higher peeps, I'm sure it's possible, it's also right that skill takes practice but it really depends on how hard the skill is to master and in MMOs generally it's not that hard though it may take Joe#1 longer then Joe#3..

Whatever... Personally as long as I don't feel pressured into level grinding and am able to enjoy the ride in my fashion I don't mind how anyone else does it. ^.^

i like the hole party leveling system that FFXI had, but i do agree with Cynthe with the fact that i don't want to be forced to do anything. i want the choice to do it but not forced or pressured into it.

I believe there shouldn't be choice to pvp, if you want some item i believe you have to pay a part in the war and not just sit at the back and let others fight.

That's just silly. If someone doesn't want to PvP don't make them... This is why I hope that if gear makes a significant difference that gear gained from PvP is aimed at PvP and gear gained from PvE is aimed at PvE. That way the two can be exclusive from each other to give people choice to do either one or both. Choice is not a bad thing.

Double post fixed

if your reffering to me which i hope your not since you know nothing of me my resume includes the 2nd warrior in knight online to reach max level to 80....getting 80 in knight online is worse grind then 99% of the other games out there and currently i am level 104 in 2moons which is in the top 10% for my class and i still put my wife and kids above video games

nec i said up to a point....ur talking about a huge gap as in 20 or more levels diff...i am saying a smaller gap....the guy who is 5 or 10 levels less then the max level guy could easily beat him if he stopped grinding and decided to learn how to hone his pk skills to beat the max level guy...that is what i mean.....ofc a guy who plays 2 hours a day and gets half way to max level is not going to have the skill or even stats to beat the max level guy lol

and that's where you'd be wrong. Hehe my lvl 20 paly in WoW killed a lvl 70 warlock(affiction). You just have to have proper timing.

well about lvl cap.
if ppl get max lvl in 1 or 2 month and after they still need to continue to kill mobs to farm for stuff is kinda stupid to put cap so low.

Too much time to get lvls make most of the people hate the grind, L2 grind is insanely, the game most of time is not about your skills playing, but becomes about who has more time to play to get the best stuff on the game and the cap lvl.

*Scratches head*...

I guess I think the exact same way as Tez. I really hated how easy it was to lvl in WoW. You don't feel special for being high lvl'd because everyone is. All it'll take is 2 weeks or less. My FFXI experience from 1 to 75 was not tedious as some people might think, but it was more fun than my entire playtime in WoW. Just the lvling part of FFXI. A cool experience in a game is to see someone at the highest lvl and gaze in his glory, wondering when you'll become like that. In short to level MMO's, these people become lower than special and it really puts a damper on the entire game.

WoW 1-70 in 2 weeks or less? ... RIGHT, if you're playing 12 hours a day and doing nothing but leveling in the most efficient way possible, I guess.

Being max level should NOT make you feel special. If being max level is special it creates huge issues for balancing PvP. These people will always have an advantage because they've put more time into the game. The only way time into the game should give you that much of an advantage after a few months of playing should be increased skill that comes with practice/experience. It's not going to happen, I know, because all these games are based too heavily on gear/other rewards that give you an edge, but it's a shame... I've beaten this point to death in other threads, but it really is too bad that people need to be rewarded for playing the game and can't play just because it's fun for them. This is why I'll always take an amazing FPS over a an amazing MMORPG...
