if i remember right they said that there would be the three main races which would be elyos, asmodian, and balaur (which i think are the ppl from the ship) and then they also said there was going to be a race of dragons which would be hostile towards everyone, which kinda sounds like the colossus' but i dono thats just what im guessing it is.

Nope, Balaur were called Dragons before they revealed their real name (balaur).

Two playable races.(Asmodians and Elyos)
The Balaur aka the third race which is NPC controlled and has the choice to oppose/help or fight against both races. Don't get fooled though, NcSoft did state that the Balaur wont be stupid NPC's found in usual video games.

this investing thing is a bit tricky though in most MMO's politics basically just mean keeping the strongest person/guild around happy...i guess now Guilds are going to have to have some ppl skills if they want to maintain a good fortress, backstabbing/betrayal can have dire consequence other than a flame fest....nice
