Lineage 2 wasnt designed for non asian market tbh, its a vry succefull game in asia and IT WAS TOO in the US with arround 2M subsribers. GW target totally different players, besides once again IT IS NOT A MMORPG you forgot CoX and the few other attempts like Auto assault. NCsoft know verywell what the US and Euro market wants and because you dont want grindfest liek Lineage2 it doenst mean lots of people dont, period. |

I fall on the hard side of the political spectrum per say. I also enjoy groups and tactical challenges. I always receive a sense of accomplishment. In FFXI there were always side things to do other than constant grinding which gave you rewards and recognition. AF, Level Cap, Rank Missions, Fame etc.

As long as I don't have to do it solo I don't mind grinding so much. ^_^ But most definitely would prefer a much less... mind numbing way of leveling up, which quests and/or storyline mission can definitely help with. =) That's one thing that was fun about GW, you reached max level like 3/4ths of the way through the storyline, so it never felt like a grind at any point. Then again the level cap in GW is only 20 =P

In any mmo you have to solo sometimes. So if they make it impossible people just drop the game and go play something else (that happens a lot with L2), anyways i would like to see a game able to make both of gamers (hardcores and casual's) able to enjoy, with a lot of content and many endgame stuffs to do.

" Every casual players bounce off the barriers of grinding horror. Naturally, smart ones payed China to achieve lvl status and high end gear. Now, l2 has a slowly fading out player base with 1/3 of server population consisting of iBots.
