to be honest... i think U.S / English version will come out much earlier than what most people are assuming..

In nearly all the videos i have seen the Voice Acting has already been done by English voice actors, and today i came across this..

go beta.... though i doubt there will be a really big OB i think they'll do a stress test for like 5 days then 4 days after if the test pass's you will be able to play it... but i still believe they'll make people buy the game even if you want to partake in the stress test.... I prefer games that make you pay for it... and make you pay monthly fees it gets rid of a lot of the little ****s that destroy most MMOs

I strongly agree with you, this happened in RF online the game was p2p and was changed to F2p now theres gold sellers and spam like uve never experienced before LOL horrible game now anyways like i was saying when theres monthly fee it does get rid of the idiots that dont care what they do cause if they get banned they can just make another account -.-

Yeah, for all we know they're already working on the translations, but a lot of the quests/text may not be finalized, so it wouldn't do much good to translate it yet. And that screenshot looks like it's from E3 2006.

Well i hope NcSoft will launch this game before the next wow expansion or it will have a heavy chance on just fail to try catch wow players to Aion. Speacially becouse they will add so many stuffs they don't have at this point.

Anyways i really expect to see the full launch on the first quarter of 2008. And the open hope to see the open beta around end 2007 and January 2008.

not that this is true or false but game stores do this too with other games. If you spoke to Amazon about the release date they would tell you they give a date for customer reasons, especially if they are doing pre orders.

I'll be waiting for Aion all the way, I dont see anything else that interests me. I think beta should be in a couple of months, release I imagine will be a month or two after the open beta for US. I dont want them to rush the game, work out the kinks/bugs, and release it when your ready.

We still have a long wait ahead of us. Korea hasn't even started open BETA.. (which is rumored in korean fansites to start during either winter break or spring break) I really didn't see the point of everybody gathering here like a light year before NCsoft even gave a beta date for us :s Then again, I am here as well ;s

Lineage II took a year to land on US after its release in korea. Aion might take longer. Now note that Korea is still on closed beta. Don't go off counting years tho, it's dangerous to your mental health to have such thoughts.

As global as possible, although I remember for an example China have already announced a later release. This does however not affect us. To paraphrase myself from another forum: There will almost certainly be a gap, although not necessarily a long one. With the amount of localization required, and the vast number of territories/parties involved, it's close to impossible to release it simultaneously - in the words strictest meaning. We're trying to be pro-active, however, so if things go as planned then this "gap" will be minimal or negligible.
