Wipe after Open Beta?

From my viewpoint, the beta has a two-fold purpose.

The first purpose is to test the game with the alterations from Korean/Japanese/Chinese to English. I've heard that there are other minor changes to the NA/EU versions, but I may have heard wrong. In any case, it's to test the game for bugs and playability.

The second purpose is to test the market. From what I've seen of the game so far, there seems to be a good market here. I've seen that there will be 16 servers at launch. I don't know a whole lot about how servers work, technologically, but I do worry about threads popping up about merging servers. The devs probably know what they need for the game to work. But I see the betas as test market as well as a bug hunt.

That being said, I feel wipes should be necessary so that all the players who have the head start at launch will start on a level field. That way we should have little problems of high level players 'bullying' the low level player at day 1. I sincerely hope this doesn't happen, but then again, a lot of people hope for world peace in thier lifetimes.

+ if OB plays on 1.5 i def want to keep my char + name.

however if ob is wipe i will be quiet and start logging in 5 minutes before 24 hr head start

Hoping for a wipe I guess, makes it easier in some cases!

Majority of the people here rather have the wipe after OB. So when launch comes everyone starts at the bottom. Whoever finishes to the top depends on their time and dedication.
