I trully hope we can change colors and there will be a lot more options on the final version of the game. I would hate see my guild finally choose one emblem and end up changing it becouse we find another guild with the same choice of emblem. I would also like to see if we could upload our own image on grey and maybe the game could offer us some types of colors to recolor the emblem.

i really, REALLY do hope there will be some way to put ure personal touch to a emblem. or even better, be able to make your own seeing i like doing graffic stuff

making clan emblems is something i really like doing. so i really hope we will be able to do this.

Yep I will also miss it...I was getting good at 16px by 12px emblems =/. I hope they let us write a custom clan title over our name like in L2. I had this original idea(Which I won't tell here :P)..

They have two choices to satisfy me XD:

-Either make A LOT of pre-designed emblems which cannot be altered.
-About 30 emblems which can have a background color, color change etc with it.

lvl 3 legions can made their own emblem. and upload to the game (just like in L2)

I've actually not played L2, what was the emblem creating tools like there? I know lvl 3 legions can make their own emblem, but is it likely going to be some cheap in game paint program? Or can you actually upload something from photoshop?

^^ Anyone know? Perhaps if I know what it was like in L2, it'll give me a better idea of how they might have it in Aion.

In L2 you just had to make the crest and save it as BMP 256 colors. Then, the only necessary thing to do was typing the path of the image inside the clan management window.

in what folder should i place the emblem.i have tryed to place it in the aion folder but it will not work.so is it the bin32 folder i shouldout it in ?

For your guild? You have to talk to the guild lady/guy and you pick you logo from where you saved it and it cost you like 12k to do.

These designs are great, but I would much prefer having the additonal options of creating your own custom clan emblems or customizing the pre-existing ones to an extent, much like L2, Rohan and Warhammer.

The purpose of clan emblem is not a decoration to look pretty, but as an uniquely distincguished visual characteristic to identify various different clans instantly.

No matter how many pre-existing emblems you have, there are bound to be repeats and clones in an MMO where there are thousands of clans. This defeats the purpose of "an uniquely distincguished visual characteristic to identify various different clans instantly".

IMO nothing beats entirely custom and original designs.

I totally remember seeing capes with Hello Kitty on the Korean server. I think I did at least... maybe I was dreaming...

You put it in the root Aion folder. For me on the Chinese version it's ProgramFiles/AionC, but for the NA/EU official version it's ProgramFiles/NCsoft/Aion.

u can make ur own guild emblems as well, but ye the ones that are premade do look kick ***, i dont know about elyos, but for asmo u get a "shoulder cape", as u rank up ur guild u can change the color and emblem, higher ranks u can have the emblem printed on ur shield too, which is awesome
