Same..special hero skills, but I do not like hero weapons. A freaking amazing looking armour set would be awesome.
I'm assuming hero will be the most amount of abyss points accumulated in 1 months...they'd better have a system that allows supports to get points when playing their role in a pvp. |

The abyss points thing would work very well if they could implement it so it can't be exploited some how. __________________

Ugh, hero classes... I'm so so against content that only no-lifers can get... guess I might be too used to playing single player console games, as Aion will be my first real mmorpg experience, only played some f2p ones until now. Guess I'll just have to get used to not being able to access all content of the game...

By hero classes you guys mean What? A class that becomes hero which means you're imba all the time? Or an L2- like system that Calindor mentioned.

for my opinion i want the hero class to be from a quest (that would be alot better becaause the event or pvp or championships can be won by just luck) so a good hard quest will be enough for the hero class.
and about the hero class i would rather great wings as every one is saying and heroic weapons and armor sets. and all new heroic skills(it depends on the first normal class, i mean if u made a gladiator and u learned all his skills and then u promoted him to his hero class he can learn new hero gladiator skills plus he already can use his old skills). and no increase in size idea because its really wowish and it sux alot. and increase his stats too much so the hero class can be strong as a boss mob(because if u didn't increase its stats too much i don't think it can be refered at a mob like in wow hero class Death Knight its not strong enough). just make the cost of all these great enormous powers a hard quest to be done (i think the quest should be done all alone because u r the one who will become a hero). i hope my suggestions have helped. to AION the best game EVER![]() |

I think hero systems are silly. If someone is truly skilled and all powerful, it should show in their PVP skills and/or equipment. Shouldn't have to have a special status to say "hai every1 look at the shiny heroz." I think if it is implemented, hopefully it will be something to the effect of constant buffs or extra stigmas of sort.
If they are overpowered and get massive damage attacks, hopefully it will be something like DBZ and take 3 or 4 "episodes" of them charging their power, and 2 to use it (giving the rest of us nobodys the chance to destroy them before it goes off). :P __________________ ![]() In aere aedificare Scatter...Senbonzakura |

I will take the wait and see approach. I'm not gonna guess how it will or will not be. But he should have like a buff marker over his head so everyone can see and know who he or she is. (sorta like the chanters buff)

Heros should be secluded in the AByss and not permitted to go back to the normal realms, just wait there in the fortress like any other Abyss Boss. That would be awesome lol

and make difference between the heroic skills of both races (like elyos hero gladiator new heroic skills are all different than asmodian hero gladiator heroic skills)

Secondly, I'd like to see what the Koreans have to say regarding the Hero system and when/whether it is implemented, will it work. I'm pretty sure the majority of NA/EU players are against the system, unless it at best offers a moderate boost in power. E.g. an Aura like most have suggested. Personally I dont mind boosted stats, additional abilities and some aura or whatever. As long as they can be killed by very skilled PvPers its ok. Heros should be supportive of group play. Thats about it. |

It's really simple ...Hero system in L2 was/is bad. Big allies "setting up" the olympiad so they could "circulate the hero-status amongst their own. The best suggestion I can make is : HEROIC STIGMA !!! 2 extra slots on stigma and then really hard quest
to achieve the prefered skills/stats for the "hero". Another nice suggestion would be if heroes could pick stigma from all classes or a combination of both ... Add a hero aura and u 'r set ....things that could also matter : faster leveling in crafting, higher % to create unique items etc .......pvp and stuff isn't the only thing that makes a good player. There are ppl out there that spent more of their time helping less experienced players with quests and whatever they need. Aren't these the real heroes ?? A chanter that would spend their time buffing me in order to finish grinding or a quest is more than a hero than any shinny, glowing whimp that thinks he deserves to be a hero because he killed xxx amount of foes. Seen lots of "heroes" that had the worst characters. Don't make me analyse he morals behind a TRUE hero because then a lot of you will end up crying ![]() |
