Hello Forum-land! This is my first post..^^
My GF and I are really looking forward to this game, we're currently playing WoW but are planning on dropping it like a hot potato when Aion comes out..lol!
What I'd like to know is, has there been an update on whether there will be a Mac version of Aion? My GF is an Apple nut, and it would be a bit of a buzz-kill if she cant play it on her system. (I noticed that the last post on this was kinda old so I figured I'd poke the beast and see if it spits out some info..XP)
Any help with this would be..err...helpful! ^^

Hi Orders! I highly, highly doubt that Aion will have a mac version. Correct me if I'm wrong, but NCsoft has never really given any Mac versions of their games.

However, recent macs can run Windows just as well as any PC. Can your GF's mac run bootcamp? I have a macbook, and I run all my games in Bootcamp. It works perfectly.

Yeah, my GF and I talked about it, and we can set it up that way. Just gotta buy a new copy of windows..XP

item uniqueness : Let's take your situation as an example; at high levels, everyone will be wearing the equipment that provides the most stat benefits. In Aion, there is a system where you can transfer the stat bonuses from one piece of equipment to another. Let's say you have the an awesome sword by the name of Zariche which looks absolutely awesome, but an even better sword looks pretty dull (in your opinion anyway). Through Aion's system you can upgrade to the better sword while keeping the awesome looks of Zariche.

Does this feature include stats stacking? Such as if this sword has +10 str, this noob sword has +11. Can I add the stats of the noob sword to combine it to 21 str? Then find another noob sword making it 32? I'm assuming no since it's quite imbal? lol

Weather affecting spells had to be scrapped.

Seriously? WTF lol. Was it too hard to type "if (CurrentWeather==RAINING && SpellElement==FIRE) SpellDamage*=0.9;"?

On another note, I didn't see the most important question in that list...

How do you pronounce "Aion"?

I seriously doubt you will be able to transfer from chinese servers to european ones, if that's what you were asking.

I've checked a few places, but I haven't come across this question/answer. Is there a limit to characters we can create per server? Such as 10 per server in The WoW.
