I hope to god we don't have an event to corespond to every holiday in the real world calender, not only am I displeased that some one time event is being hosted around the holidays when there is clearly better things to do, but it also interferes with the depth and illusion of a seperate fantasy world. Elyos celebrate Christmas and Asmodian celebrate Halloween?, cornier cannot be obtained.

If they had their own unique and interesting events, and even unique holidays that didn't fall right on Christmas and Independance Day than I would enjoy it, but for the love of all things holy, stop competing with holidays.

thanks kieron... i dont think any of us are expecting any elaborate events, but something that allows us to interact with the staff is always worthwhile...

I've got a stack of event templates ranging from one-off 'kill and fetch' missions to arcs lasting weeks or months. I need to find out what the GM tools are capable of, but I think we can come up with something more engaging than the scenario you presented.

I look forward to such events, as already said, much more interactive then Guild Wars ever was, and I loved GW . I look forward to pushing through the stuggle against raiding monsters with other players that I still have no idea who they are. Though I hope such events are not so common, because after a while I would imagine that would get annoying if that happened more then 1 or 2 weeks at a time. In all, it looks sweet.
