Thanks for the translation
. Interesting review of closed beta. I am a bit disappointed that the elyos and asmodians arent that different from each other. But it makes sense since they stem from the same race. I was hoping for different armor, storyline missions, and quests. With the monster's being similiar do they mean reskinned or are they the same ? I think it was kinda early to judge PvP considered that the REAL PVP doesn't start till endgame. I don't like it when pvp centers around who has the best weapons and armor over who has the best skills and tatics. Other than that this review was great can't wait to read the rest . |

One thing that bothered me is that they said the starting zones were identical. And I'm not sure if they just meant the creatures or if they meant the environment too. I want a reason to try out the other faction. But if they're basically the same, then there goes some extended playability right there. Glad to hear that they capitalized on content, though. Huge plus, but I would definitely like to see some more polarization reached. __________________ ![]() |

I just figure the more we worry, the more likely NCsoft is to pay attention to our fears and address them with improvements. __________________ ![]() Last edited by [PhiberOpticks]; 01-03-2008 at 07:26 PM.. |

Thanks for the translation.
The RvR part of the game being over simplified does raise a concern, as some pointed out already, but hopefully they'll work on that as time and updates go by. Less rerolling ain't necessarily a bad thing. (Some people I know are tempted to reroll way too fast, when given a chance and the slightest motive.) |

I don't mind if the starting areas are similar, actually i'd expect nothing more. What was the last game you played where you started off in the middle of a volcano? Generic starting areas (with grass, water) are fine, as long as at later levels the environments beging to differentiate between the two factions. Maybe a good level 40 area for the Asmos would be in the middle of some ruins, whereas for the Elyos it would be an enchanted forest (just examples).
I don't expect to start the game in an intense, chaotic environment (unless you count your flashback) |
