No, I don't believe so. It would be very awkward to have a halt in flight-time regeneration if you hadn't used up all your energy. In other words, I think your flight time will always regenerate regardless of whether you used it up or not.

I don't mind about the new update from Aion-Team, but I hope they would allow players to spread their wings and fly in the air. What would that mean? Imagine this:

You're running off a cliff and you jump right in the edge of it. You're in the air and are about to slowly fall down. Then you immediately spread your wings and fly after the jump. That would be awesome.

The dude didn't say that they fixed the biggest problem: the way the character's move. I think the majority of us have realized this. It's glitchy and disturbing, but he said they fixed other things, so I'm hoping it's one of them.

I'm going to rewatch AION's old cinematic trailers again. I know for sure that happens in one of them, but it's only cinematic and that means it might not be doable in-game.

if its NOT possible, im going to be immensely disappointed... honestly, the possibility of leaping from ledges, and bursting into flight midway has been something ive been wanting to do since i first stumbled upon the game...

i certainly hope we get some clarification on this one...

I'm glad I brought it up then! Like Mark said, I haven't particularly seen any footage with the ability to activate flying in the air, even though it might be shown in some cinematics.

I've seen that ability in the first AION i ever watched. It was cinematic, but done with ingame footage so to speak. I'll try and find it.

EDIT: Found it, here it is Movies - Media - Aion the monster kicks the female ranger(?!) of the bridge, and when she's about to reach the bottom, SPREAD THE WINGS AND FLY !!! \m/
