NCSOFT are bunch of incompetent people that does not know how to coordinate their deedline with the time. They will lunch the game on the end of 2008!?? they are retarded or something? does it need 10000 years to make a good game?
If it keep going like this it wil only hurt them, instade of making 6 games at the same time why dont they work on Aion and make it better than wow? the way i see it, they would do even more money than they would if they focus on 1 game instade of 6 games at the sametime because they only divide their customer by 6 and does not really bring out player from other games like WoW , since it cant beat it.

The're not trying to beat WoW and any publisher/developer that tries is just gonna hurt themselves in the long run. Lots of people would rather have a decent quality game rather than a rushed game, i for one have seen what a well established game that has rushed episodes can do to it.

Besides no developer will ever rush a P2P game cause people would lose interests real fast. The 6 games they are working on expand into a varied genre's and not just one type. What hurts the company is the fact that limiting release on game info is bad, besides from what we have seen and read this game will have its niche in the market just like most mmo's out there.

I've been waiting since 06 and started actually discussing it with other people this year when I heard that it might be released this year.

I'm not getting my hopes up for this game, because honestly NCsoft never been the type of company to deliver on a MMO with a large impact besides L2 I guess and at the end I'm not for getting all worked up for a giant disappointment.

I'll be playing Age of Conan when it gets released in May or Warhammer Online probably Age of Conan though until Aion is released that way If Aion is a failure I have a fall back game.

/wait for a few more months.

Edit: You can hit level 70 in WoW in a week, but gratz none the less, which class besides rogue.

I'll also be playing Age of Conan of this game is nto released by the end of Q2...and kentaro, you forgot Guild Wars...as far as Lineage 2, personally, the only impact it did (besides the beautiful graphics) was the insane amount of bots and currency sellers running amock without control

blizzard has never met a deadline, ever. Diablo 2, starcraft, warcraft patches, WoW release/patches/expansions we're delayed. At least Aion has never given a set release date for the game, they arent really breaking any promises. They "planned" to release by first half. If they had set a release date exact you would have reason to complain.

Well I'm not complaining in general, the common sense rule is the longer the game is in devlopment the better the gameplay because of the extra time put into it, but of course you always have those games which are doomed to fail my example is RFO it was a nice game at start, but it was doomed to fail with all the glitches the cora had to max out all their PTs regardless of class and the Acration (sp?) being broken with their rocket launchers thus they were forced to remove servers and transfer the game into a F2P.

Hence why I'm not a fan of most codemaster games.

But still planning phase 2 of CBT in Feb and then delayed to March along with a planned release in the first half and probably being pushed to the second isn't breaking a promise yes, but does it shatter hopes? yes.

Blizzard is a terrible corporation...Well I'd say more lazy than terrible in my opinion they act like their running for president they tell us words we want to hear and promise us context we want to see, yet it always gets delayed until the consumer is on the edge of leaving the game and dropping profits for the Corporation that's when they release the next update that we want.

But they still have ten million subscribers.

I don't fully understand your question. NCsoft has announced the expected release dates in the chart provided. EU/NA's being affected is inevitable -- but, if NCsoft is "brave" (if you will) enough to announce their release dates, I'm fairly confident that they will be sticking to their expectations regardless of who is affected over the other.
