It kinda scares me though that he talk about micro-translations, I personally am not a fan of that set up.

Well Ncsoft has talked about having a diverse portfolio of games, to attract all kinds of players. I'm sure they will do the same with payment plans. So they can attract players like most of us, that want quality and are willing to pay for it, and also attract those people that come in here from time to time to complain about monthly fees.

Yes i agre i thingk what there trying to do is apeel to evry one, so u quality and a great game exspireance and u dont have to dent your walet^.^

No offense, but it took me a second or two to try to make out what you're saying there. I'm going to rewrite it just so I can understand it for myself.

Now, for my reply: Considering Aion-Team is tailoring this game to the standards of Western gamers, it shouldn't be a surprise their intention is to appeal to a wide range of players. However, I don't understand the denting your wallet part. Unfortunately (but realistically), you're going to have to dent your wallet on whatever you purchase, be it something necessary or not.

One flaw to them wanting to please everyone, hardcore players don't want a casual player friendly game and casual players don't want a hardcore player friendly game. Yes, there creating the game where both hardcore and casual players can enjoy it, but isn't each type going to hate the content made for the other style? which could arise issues in the future.

Not to mention how are they going to balance out monthly fees for those who can't afford $14.99/month because honestly those who can afford could find a loop hole in the system and use it to make their payment easier even though they have no need to. Besides those who can't afford the monthly fee probably been around F2P games their life which could effect the community.

I for one honestly can't see a system in which they will place in order to help those who can't afford $14.99/month because honestly there is no way to fix it because their going to want their full $15 within the month, and a month is only four weeks either way your paying $15 a month.

I'm not trying to disappoint people or sound like a complete ***, I'm just bluntly telling the truth.
