True, but especially if you gain most points by pvping it would be nice to see the breakdown of point contribution per player. It could also help, for instance, when deciding who should be officers or who should get a boss drop etc. Its hard to tell personal contribution when the points are gathered almost 1 by 1 over peoples playtime as they grind in the Abyss.

Ideally, all our questions will be answered within the next month or two.
What I can surmise from all this though, is that NCSoft is doing something really smart: Minimizing the number of good guilds that can be out there. Think about this, people would rather make several little lvl 1 guilds because it's cheaper, but in another article I read that only one guild can reap the true benefits of holding a stronghold (I'm still calling it a stronghold... is it a castle? Tower? I dunno.). Basically, I really can't see a 10 lvl 1 guild alliance holding together too well without drama when only one of those guilds are receiving the true benefits of holding the stronghold. Those 9 other guilds will get jealous fast and drama will likely follow. With only 8-10 strongholds per abyss zone (I don't know how many zones there'll be), competition for these strongholds will likely be fierce. To me, a good way to minimize the crazy zerg for strongholds is to make creating a guild that can achieve stronghold possession more difficult. Anyone can collect 100 ninjas and idiots from the corners of the server and take a stronghold. However, it looks like it'll take dedication, loyalty, and every member putting the guild first to make it that far. I think this will make the top guilds be even fewer in number, but all of them more willing to take in more people within their guild (Where in WoW, guilds didn't really want more than the raiding max). I dunno, I think they did a good job. I'm looking forward to this. |

Yea Kattrina, you are right. I hope that after lvl 3 they become even more difficult to lvl up and take more of a team effort to obtain all the requirements for lvling. This makes it mean something when you get a legion to a certain level and hopefully they will make having the levels provide you with options lower legions don't have and/or some type of abilities.
In L2 your clan could get passive buffs that affected all the members as long as they held the proper rank. As your clan lvled they had more buffs that you could choose from. I would like to see something similar to this in Aion. __________________ ![]() |

Regarding guild names... It would be great to have it confirmed whether spaces are allowed in the EU/US client, as that would probably be troublesome to adapt to later (domain names and such). I certainly hope so, as spaces open up for more unique combinations, however since it isn't allowed in Korea, it worries me... or is it so that the Korean language simply is built so it makes no sense whatsoever to have spaces?
Because otherwise it's not really that great that they aren't allowed over there... |
