Hmmm! Flying houses is very good idea! By the way, we have a huge flying thing with some kind of city on it (on concepts).
It will be also interesting if we have some sky ships (like 3D MARK '06). If you ask "Why do we need to fly on the ship if we can fly without it?" answer is "Why do we have cars if we can walk with our own legs?".

It would be pretty awsome if they concept drawings of the ships where guild buyable then you could have huge air battles where one guild ship takes on another to trya nd destroy it, people on the ship get access to wings and what ever chosen has so you get pretty intence battles in between the two ships firing at each other.

Reminds me of 2142s Titan battles lol.

Although that would be a great concept for a PvP battle.

I loved the housing system of EQ2 the best (even though I loved all my homes in SWG...). There were just a bunch of buildings in town that anyone could rent (with unlimited vacancy) with great variety in location and design... it was amazing! House parties were a common then... my crafter even held a few ^-^; I was a carpenter and made furniture for awhile XD. And you could open shop in your house, and make your house completely open to friends (or not if you have none :P) or to anyone if you wanted~!

And only the owner of items in the house could pick them up (well... depends on what rights you grant people and the type of item) and you could have pets you can play with!!

I loved just coming back from grinding so hard out in the wilderness to a nice home full of memories and souvenirs from my travels O_o I dunno why... it just made it feel more real to me.

(It opened up another form of business also ^-~ Some people were actually paid to decorate homes just right!)

Wow, Payed to decorate some ones home?
Hopfully they will have some way easy like the EQ2 system to make decorationg more of a fun thing than a chore.

I loved the housing in SWG, mine is still on the Intrepid server, somewhere on Dantooine. "Tomb of Drakon Rodak" i believe it's called. Had a lot of very expensive collectables. Was hoping another mmo would have something like this to put collections in.

lol in SWG I had a sensible medium sized house near a river. It was a size shop for when I was a shipwright :D I put ship parts everywhere and made it all messy and sweet <3

And then another small house right next to it.

...to store ALL my clothing.

I called it "Mo'rika's Closet" (that was my char's name <_<;)

I love the idea of making your house into a shop! That would be a great idea.
Although it depends on how well crafting is implimented.

NC soft should take a look at Vanguard. I love that crafting system.

Different types of crafting doesnt necissarily mean good crafting.

I dont want to end up with the boring system of. This amount of farmed/bought items = your crafted item. Thats just a reason to have rubbish loot on mobs

It should be like Vanguards where building something takes time and effort and can be really frustrating if you come across a hiccup.

It would be also nice to have a crafting prefab table. In which if your making a weapon or armour, each part can be modified from a series of prefab templates.

So If I make a Sword I choose: Wrapping 1/10, Hilt 5/10, pommel 3/10 blade 10/10 and make a totally different looking sword. I realise this is alot of work to design each different part but what the hell I can dream

the interchangable parts idea would be great. i'd love to see more variety in weapon and armor design.

what makes the vanguard crafting system so challenging?

EQ2 crafting was difficult at times too (figures... the games are by the same people ;P) With problems that came up constantly that you had to counteract with skills while crafting all while constantly "buffing" your product to get the best level of quality.

So fun... It was the one game I could actually spend all day crafting in and got want to kill myself <3
