Awesome, I too dislike personal shops. Yeah, they're cool and RP-ish, but they're ugly most of the time.

Got to wonder if this AH will be like RFO's AH where you can put the item up and log off and the item/items stay up for a certain time period.

Asian mmo's predominantly use personal shops(the ones I've played
). The problem I find with those is that you have to go to every darn one to see the whole market and the price are often wild and crazy.WoW's auction house is nice because it saves time, you can put infinite number of items on sale, and keeps the market stable since someone putting an item up for sale would be able to see all of the current prices. Eq's bazaar was a mix of both of these. Personal shops where you set your price and put what you sold in your merchant window, but also included a search feature that you could open in the bazaar to browse all goods. After you found the cheapest price you had to find the person, luckily the bazaar was organized into rows. This in my opinion was really great for immersion and reduced the problem "sifting" through the market. __________________ "Zorba the Buddha" -Osho

Do we know if this is an actual "Auction"house like in WoW, with bidding and such, or more like the AH in Tabula Rasa or Vanguard, where you can sell your stuff for set prices?
Also, Aion does (in addtion to the Auction House) sport shops. That has been said in an interview a while ago. I guess it was Ken Choi at the time who said this. |

Or is this the character's items for sale? Anyway looks solid, gotta love Auction Houses! They make the game fun
