To be honest, I didn't really like either one of them. They both just looked like they were tacked onto the back of the character. Almost like they didn't belong.

Not only that, but they look really silly with wings.

I prefeer the asmodian type. I find the elyos one to standard/plain.

Wow, the Asmodian one is epic win. Elyos is bleh - too much like Guild Wars as someone said.

I don't like full, long capes because it hides too much of the backside of your character's armor.

Personally, I'm not too crazy about the idea of capes period. X3 It looks somewhat tacky and overrated.

However, the Asmodians' capes have a new twist on them, so I'm attracted to them more. =o I also agree with what Katt said much earlier, where if you could dual-shoulder wear them that would look awesome (twice as awesome if they were like, super long).

It's all just in the eyes of the beholder, though.

Asmodian cape rocks. It's unconventional, it fits extremely well with the "coolness" of the rest of the style and it just looks ace. Also it won't clip through the wings like a regular cape would

I voted I liked the Asmodian capes better, not for design, but how they -look- on the toon. Draped off the shoulder next to the mane gives it a very cool look. Like Boba Fett's cape to the side of his rocket pack. The Elyos cape looks great also, but it doesn't have as good of a personality as the Asmodian one does.

I recall that the Asmo capes are that way so they don't hide the back hair. Seriously.

The unintended side effect is that it doesn't obstruct the "view" of your female toon's backside.

i have to agree the elyos ones look so much like guildwars, i cant stand it. They are just to flimsy looking, personally i like ones that go down to the feet myself like on DAoC.
