/rude I still don't like it. Look at Westfall, Defias traitor escort quest in WoW -.- whether it's crowded or not there are always some people who are on same par with you and try to do the quest. It wouldn't matter if everything can be done by grouping but atm it's not like that so yeah, I say FIX THE DAMN RESPAWN TIMER KTHX. Taking +1 hour just to finish some killing quest or escort quest is dumb. Not to mention it's CLOSED BETA, what's their plan for the open beta then, when it's going to be crowded as hell.

For some reason I just think in order to incorporate the amount of people in the area with the mob respawn timer just seems like something hard to program. Iono, because when they're 2 complete separate subjects it's easier to tweak them?

Probably won't until players get to Abyss. Since nobody pvp on air atm due to short duration of flight time and... kind of pointless.

This list is too insane by today's standards to still be there by release. I'm not even worried.
2,8,9 are non-issues, 8 is NDA stuff, 9 is becuase it's a test server, 2 becuase it's not implemented yet. Flgith time is probably just becuase it's beta also.
10 is probably working as intended, guess you can't play this game like other mmos. 4 is definetly going to get fixed, even F2P mmo have group escorts.
The rest, i dont even care if it's not "fixed", going back to a city for training, waiting 20 min for a respawn, not a problem for me.

Im pretty sure when WoW was young, blizzard programmed it such that if an area was crowded with players, mobs were supposed to respawn faster, but I think they also had a minimum respawn time. They didn't do everything right, some named mobs took way too long to respawn, but most of it is pretty good.

Ideally you want to have a system recognize the number of players in an area and have respawns faster.

Anyway, sounds stuff the beta is meant to work out. There's no release date so there's plenty of time to balance everything out.

WoW has no such system (at least when i was playing, which was from first release till spring/summer 2006). The GMs had to manually increase the spawn time of mobs, they did do it in some cases. I don't know if they implemented such a system by now though, i havn't played that game in two years.

Going back to the city to train really isn't even much work. You teleport there from a smaller city/town where you quest at. It's not a long trip (like it is if you want to fly from silithus to somewhere to train in WoW :P).

Still has no such system. Some mobs still take forever, some mobs spawn right after it's dead.

Everyone has such nice sigs! I remember when I use to make sigs on photoshop >.< Too bad I can't find much picss nowdays lol T_T WTB a sig to match my signature/avatar >.>

Doesn't seem too bad, most of those problems are minor/will be fixed.

Mob spawn time can't be as bad as they were in Lineage 2 for class transfers. And it's pretty much to be expected there's gonna be some waiting for spawns this early in the game. The first week to month of actual release will probably be like this. Welcome to the non-instance world.

I could have sword they addressed the issue of respawn rates within the first year of wow. they may have just increased it. I thought I read that respawn timers were supposed to increase when people were in the area. But, there's no way I can prove it as it was a looooong time before the expansion.

I'm pretty sure named mobs are on a set timer in wow.
