Updated System Requirements as of 16/12/2008

Minimum:

Pentium 4 2.8GHz, AMD Athlon 2800
1 GB RAM
GeForce 6600, Radeon X1550
Hard Drive 30GB
DirectX 9.0c(2008,6)

Recommended:

Pentium Dual Core, AMD Athlon 64 X2
2 GB RAM
GeForce 7600, Radeon X2600
Hard Drive 30GB
DirectX 9.0c(2008,6)

Thanks Zinrae for structuring the specs for me.

The specifications are a little higher than before, but nothing too drastic. Still not going to stop me from getting a powerful new PC though...

Hmm that's minimum, and that means you will lag in towns and have ugly graphics hehe.

Exactly.

If you played with that minimum hardware, Aion would probably look disgusting and laggy as hell. To be safe, here's...

Mark's Recommended Minimum System Requirements (if anyone cares)!

OS: Lol, whatever.

There you have it. My buddy plays FarCry all the time on a system like that on pretty high settings. If you've got something like that, you'll probably be fine, though I do recommend upgrading to some of the new stuff coming out nowadays sooner or later, preferably sooner.

If I can't play Aion on my computer, I will just upgrade my computer till I can, that's how much I want to play it ^^

I should be fine. Even onmy current setup but i will be upgrading for other games coming out. IE Crysis.

i think my laptop can handle it but i will put everything at low for the best performance.

my lame laptop could run this on minimum lol, my gaming computer would run this perfectly =D its got quite a bit more then marks recomended lol

AMD FX 57 processor... ( i think it runs at around 2.2Ghz... not at home atm)
2 GB dual channeled RAM
SLI geForce 7800GT's (x2)
80GD Raid 0 HD

Yeah, those are the same specs that were on the official Korean Aion site when it launched. I wouldn't want to try running it with that though >.>

Well that's good news and I can run it for sure, but my spouse will have to upgrade his if he wants to play too.

Your specs are significant overkill, like pole vaulting over a 3-foot-tall hurdle.

With those SLI'd 7800GTs, you should be able to run at impressively high resolution with all settings maxxed. The FarCry engine is one of those games that responds almost linearly when moving from one video card to two in SLI (or Crossfire, for that matter).

thx for the info mike... i know a lot of games don't like SLI.... and i havent played farcry so i have yet to experience the performance with that type of engine...
