Hmm, maybe as one tranascends they wings one have will have the opportunity to be evolve, not so much as to change in actual form but with a special stylized effect...like luminescence or maybe some kind of layered effect, or ethereal in substance *thinks tyreal form diablo 2*

What about armor parts for your wings or accesories? As an option ofcourse, like having some sort of armor covering up the joints of the wings or anything. Armor would be interesting. I would imagine that having armor on your wings could mainly be used to resist falling after a hard hit. Sounds like an idea for the Suggestion Cycle

i dunno i guess it just depends on how they see the wings, if they see it as an honour thing then its likely to be built up with PvP but if its more like an addition to the base character customisation then it might mayyybe just have other customisable options such as shape, size, style etc. tbh i hope they add a good amount of customisation to the wings because im not too sure if most people with the same wings will be as refreshing.

Lol yes Tyrael's wings would be pretty sexy, hopefully the Asmodian's get more demonic as you increase your pvp but I agree, armor would be a nice touch.

I'm not sure I would like armor on my wings.. Seems like it would hurt? Depends how much and how well its animated I guess...
As for Asmodian wings being upgraded, I'm thinking they are going to get darker, misty and maybe some rips or holes here and there. I can't really imagine in what other direction you can take bat wings?

Yeah your right, I'm sure they could find a good way to put armor on Asmodians wings, however idk how it would look though...
and yeah I don't see any other way they could go :P some spikes on the points or w/e of the wings and what not.

I don't think armor is a good thing for any of the factions.
A good way to improve asmo's wings is to make them more menacing like demon wings or something.

Hmm, personally I think its a long shot for Elyos to have a black wings option, but not impossible at this point. So keep your hopes up.

I'm curious--
Generally, how do you all view the Elyos and Asmos? Do you see them as being light vs. dark? Or do you see them as "birds vs. bats" or something similar?

I tend to see Elyos as just having feathered, bird-like wings; not necessarily angelics. And Asmodians, bat-like or draconian wings, not necessarily demonics. As such, I can definitely see black or other feathered wings for Elyos, and white bat wings for Asmodians...
I'd love color choices to be our own customization option, with PvP affecting the shape or size or similar.

Personally.. i rather not see wings messed with.. everyone in thier mom will have over grown wings.. and making them pop out while they are running in town.. "oh there goes another guy with wings like Abel in Trinity Blood, or Ah! My Goddess" I rather see wings be broken.. in pvp.. battered.. bloodied.. however higher rank, more elegant they become? tough decision because quite honestly.. graphics mean more to people than story line now these days, Chrono Trigger and FF6 FTW. However, changing the wings or customization of the wings can be a positive or negative on the game itself.. I would like to see Elyos wings transition in color meaning you start off with pure white wings.. but as you pvp in the abyss more a purple to blueish fade starts coming into affect to show your time of battle.. but just ideas

I agree the most with this. Asmodian wings need more to them than what they have now. I also like the idea of having wings multiply as your "rank" increases. This of course is strictly aesthetics.
