Exactly, they're breaking all kinds of "rules" with Atreia, so they can basically do whatever they want.

I do think spikes would look a little strange on Elyos wings though.


@Shatterproof: Those wings are pretty sweet, but since it's not just one set it would probably be hard for them to do the animations, instead of it just being a matter of changing the skin or model on the wings.

I was just thinking about that. Many people who arn't totally up to date with Aion seem to think its an RvR Heaven vs. Hell type of game. When in actuality its nothing of the sort.
All the Elyos really have are angel wings, a sunny city, and kind attitudes towards each other. On the other hand they are supposed to be very austere, and hostile to almost everyone not of their own race. Not so 'angelic' of you ask me.
Just think of them as lawful neutral if anything.
Its not like the Elyos suddenly got nice after their split with the Asmodians, they just got taged with more graceful looking wings.

I hope as you progress you can choose from different upgrades. They should also vary so not everyone fits a stereotype like "angel".

lol yeah but if they put them on in some cool way I might use it. Actually I was just trying to keep the conversation going. o.O

Also, I don't think of Elyos as angels either although they DO look like a typical version of an angel. Which is why I brought up this thread to discuss whether or not they will allow us to transcend this with customization.

There seem to be a lot of posts that talk about new wings being added (in updates and such). If your wings change as you level and say you hit the level cap with a pair of wings that are meh, then a new set comes out in the update, do you think that it would be a pain to change to the new style?

For now, I think the best feature would be ability to customize wings just like u can customize equipment when you reach level 30. Why not have better stats of wings for the same skin of your previous wings? We should really have this wing freedom. I guess that later in game you will be forced to buy better wings, but why would anyone want to sacrifice the looks of new wings for better stats?
If any wing customization should be implemented I think this would be the most important one.
