Wing customization?

Aerial combat is one of Aion’s unique features and offers many exciting new possibilities. Players will engage in three-dimensional combat in the Abyss like never before, and must take into account attacks from any angle. Control of resources and territory will take on a completely new dimension in the Abyss. Wing designs will be varied and as unique as your imagination will allow, and independent flight serves as an integral part to the Aion experience.

Shoot me if this topic has already been settled, but after reading this from the new site, I wonder if we will eventually be able to customize wings. Considering the bold text, either you'll be able to customize the look of your wings using your imagination as the limit, or they will have a crap load of variety to where you just choose the type of wing you want.

My theory is as you get higher in rank in the abyss, you'll either get more customization options or just more styles to choose from. It seems good either way as long as they actually give lots of variety if not customization.

Or maybe they just said it to get more people hyped about the game. (hopefully not)

Your wings change as you get more pvp kills/abyss points, however I dont think you control the customization.

Ya, I've heard the same thing that Calindor is saying. But of course, it would be great if you could control what they look like, if they "evolve" or if you get options later. ^_^

Some article mentioned wing dying being added, so that's another form of customization, just like armor customization.

Well, I will be very disappointed if it turns out that there is fixed set of wings that you get until you reach a high enough rank to get the next fixed set of wings.

Yea, I was thinking along the lines of a wing upgrade as you get abyss/PvP points as well. It could act sort of like a ranking system.

it would be really nice if you could customize your wings but i do not know how this painting thing will be like because i do not want to see wings looking like being paintes with a brush all over...

I've read somewhere around this forum that you'll be able to change wings color. Can't remember where though.

Well I hope we can change designs too at some point....I'd love my asmodian to have black feathers

if that is possible.. I go asmo for sure lol.. I just dont like bat wings

I won't mind if we need to get higher ranks to customize wings, as long as we can control that customization.

It would be nice...my elyos might want more animalistic wings...not bat wings though.

Feathers?? Their bat wings... Such as skin and fleshy not feathery. o_o

Right, but if I had the chance to change the wings altogether, I;d go for feathered and black...i guess it depends on far they mean by customization, like just customizing existing models or whether you can access new wings if you earn a certain amount of status or so

I'd highly doubt if they'll go as far as to give asmodians feathers or elyos more "animalistic" or bat-like wings. Although letting you change the color and maybe size and shape of feathers or something wouldn't be going too far imo.
