Well tbh the 7300 isn't really a gaming video card more like a multimedia card for watching.... well media.

But atleast it isnt a onboard VGA...med/low settings with that card I'd guess.

nah... WoW managed to pull off some really impressive visuals, even with its ridiculously low system requirements... i never noticed watered down textures...

Buffs of chanter last 25 minutes? Those are bad news. What we will do in between? Off-heal? Off-dps? >_> if it just like that chanters would have pvp gear or heal gear :/

I'm a little turned off by the fact that the chanters' buffs last 25 minutes, which is going to encourage it to be more of a buffbot character than a stand alone class. With that being said, I'll probably have an alt as a chanter if they are going to have any kind of decent offensive power.

its been said quite a few times that the chanters would have some fine attacks. no idea idea if theyll be good enough to allow alot of help in dishign out dmg but itll keep them from beign JUST buffers

It possibly means that the Chanter's designated role within a PvE group is just to buff the party once every 25 minutes much like Prophets in Lineage 2, obviously this is just speculation and could be very different.

Yeah I noticed/read that. However, you never know the case when the game is finally released. As it stands now, from the little video I have seen the chanter seems to be able to hold their own in PvE, I think I've only seen one PvP vid of a chanter. I think it will be a pretty well-rounded party class.

Edit: Zyuu, I realize that a 25 min buff is relatively short. However, I don't want to see a class used just for the purpose of being a buffbot or dual-boxing. I don't know, that's how I have always felt in terms of buff classes.

Also, since you have played the game, do you know if chanters have the ability to buff anyone, or just their party and do the buff effects wear off if the chanter leaves the party?

Thanks for the information, it's looking good except maybe for the exp with asmodians, and the chanter buffs lasting 25 min.

Maybe they should make it so chanters can only buff their party members...or buff wears off if chanter is not in party.

If designed properly, having a long duration on buffs is fine. There wont be any space to two-box an additional healer/chanter in pvp or fast-paced pve for instance. And the grind in Aion isn't long. So there's little to no use. And instances are capped, most raids too. You want a "live" Chanter. If this was L2 I could understand the concerns, but it isn't.. not even close.

lol, I know, that was my only concern is that the chanter will be only used for buffs in which a long buff time has the potential to be bad. However, if the class is designed properly, and at this stage we have no reason to believe it is not, the chanter class can and should be able to do more offensively.

This was my only concern, but after re-thinking, a relatively long buff time is a good thing given the potential other abilities of the chanter. But Zyuu, 60 minutes? I think 25-30 is fine, but hey.

Edit: Anyways, back on-topic. I'm still intrigued how they managed to get a partial English Patch. But he only said it was for menus, skills, shops. But still, anyways, thanks for the information.
