I personally havent crashed during abyss, but the low FPS that takes place is one i suffer from, I can deal w/ bots, an unstable economy, even bugs and a few hiccups now and again and even love being ganked bcuz i cant wait to do it back or get my vengence, but for a game thats whole purpose is timing, strat, and boasting large scale pvp and cant deliver, it makes the game sound BROKE .... as thats the end game right there.

Exactly...and the funny thing is...if they did it thinking that they would get an initial lump sum of money and then enough subs left after the damage to sustain....they are dead wrong...because the next game they come out with will be an epic fail from the get go...people do not forget bad companies. For example...I will never again under no circumstances ever buy another Mythic game...and if they do not fix this crap...i will be saying the same thing about NCSoft if I cancel.

i often notice, that the hud gets messed up a second before the game crashes. there are grey and white squares instead of hud elements and the next thing i see is an error message from windows...

i play windowed mode btw.

the huge problem maker is the in-game mob-Pc enemy scanner on the minimap. try to hover over the red dots in the abyss and u see how it crashes in 1 sec or slows your game preformance down to 70%. Try it out and see for yourself. The hud scanner is f*up imo. As soon as any asmos or too many enemies come to the range of your hud(minimap) and you turn and face to them, or they come into your front minimap scanner range, u will CRASH! that's it.plus the memory issue when entering a new zone , while the old zone's textures have take way too much memby entering the new zone and start to load the new textures, you will get crash, because the mem. is already full. *BOOM*

Log in - move around - crash. Log back in - crash.

I'm working on another DLL for ATI cards it's in testing. If it works i'll post it up.

I am not a player who comes to a forum and threatens to quit, nor do I make whining threads complaining about random stuff but this error was the main reason I canceled my subscription before my free month expired.

I like Aion as a game in no way am I bashing it but after playing AoC at release I will no longer pay for a game which has a bug as content effecting as this one currently in Aion. On top of which when I decided to quit there was absolutely no communication from NC as to when we can expect a fix for it.

My system is as follows just for reference :

Win7 Home Premium 64 Bit
Phenom Quad Core Processor
4gig of DDR2 RAM
ATI Radeon 4870 1gig

To those of you who are suffering from this problem I hope that NC get it resolved quickly but I for one have spoken with my feet and canceled my subscription at least until it is fixed, perhaps then I will return.

You can also get a full refund of all subscription fees and chargeback the purchase of the game. I know it's dirty but NCsoft isn't going to do anything unless it costs them money to ignore it. Right now they are making truckloads of money off the initial purchase of the game itself and even with thousands upon thousands of people experiencing a game breaking error, it costs them nothing to ignore it.

The only way it will get fixed is if you make it cost them money to ignore this error. Tell everyone you know that has this porblem to get a full refund of all subscription fees and file a chargeback for the original purchase. You will get your money back and NCsoft will lose money. Then and only then will they make fixing this issue a priority.

No crash on XP. I don't wont to talk about about Vista and 7 this is too horrible... The worst is : I just buy Window7 and I can't install it cause I want to play...

There working on a fix. To be specific there trying to implement better heapsize limiting. This is from an offical source. So rest assured it will be taken care of. And IF you have been reporting the crashes you will be compensated for it. So means free game time.

This might be stupid but ... i used to crash at the temple of gold in pandae, but if i go windowed mode, i dont crash.... got an high end system. Ati Radeon 4650 HD

Same case here, i bought 7, but i think i will have to reinstall XP x64 to get my fun back in fortress attack... it's a shame.
