Did you really just compare drunk driving to RMT?

Wow.

No, I provided an example of Zero tolerance to someone who didn't understand Zero tolerance.

But, If a drunk driver was going down road A at 30mph, and his BAC was 1.6, RMT is still ********.

The gold-selling problem is infesting this game and viciously dissolving it down to its very core. Not only does gold-selling spawn obvious adverse effects like destroying the balance of the in-game economy, gold-selling also has other subtle yet equally disruptive consequences. The very foundation upon which fair play is built is undermined and mistrust of players from other players will rise.

Players who have legitimately earned their positions in the upper rankings will have to submit to suspicious of cheating via gold-buying. The adage of one bad apple ruining the rest rings ever clearly in this situation. Instead of trying to ban individuals after they have been caught cheating (e.g., gold-buying), ethical norms and the consequences of breaking the rules pertaining to such norms should be made clear. I am always advocating for preventative measures--not reactive ones. A strong deterrent is multifariously better than periodic bannings.

LOL big unusual word fight!

I agree though. It does make everyone who is higher level, whether they were honest or not about how they got there, seem guilty of cheating of some form.

I aggree banning a MAC adress is way more effective.

yeah I just assumed if you're stupid enough to buy kinah you're stupid enough to not know what a mac adress is. And I guess there's other ways to indentify a computer if NCsoft launcher has access to read the whole registry.
