People who participate in RMT and account selling should be banned, whether they are the buyer or the seller. Only the parties directly involved should be held responsible, but the ban should be permanent.

I have, more than 24hrs ago, all ive gotten is that the have elevated my ticket.

2 of my guildies have also gotten banned wrongly, this is utter crap tbh, guilty until proven innocent and im yet to see what I am banned for. That in itself will be interesting since there is absolutely nothing the can ban me for since ive done nothing. Oh wait they actually can and will ban me for doing nothing. Was this a North Korean game by any chance?

I second that. I haven't even gotten my copy of the game or even been able to play at all yet, and I'm already sick of all the crying and spamming. But, I'm not going to let that ruin the game for me once I get it

and don't worry Irony there will be plenty of other things for you to ruin the game, the repetitive boring grind (((((no I'm not saying grind is bad I'm saying that grinding CAN BE FUN but it isnt in Aion))))), the disconnection from the lore and world, crashes, spam, bots, and sh*t support will ruin the game for you...


You can take away the crying and the spam and still have a plethora of things to ruin the game for you

Not really;A player can still gain those same gear/stigma if he spend the time thus the advantage is not absolute.If instead you could pay Real money for permanent advantage (more stats) then it would be a different story

Perma ban to the buyers, whatever the source may be. Some people still haven't understand why RMT hurts the game. It's not just bots or chinese/american farmers.

In the short term it is a massive advantage in terms of lvling speed etc, you are playing Aion right? you have noticed it's got a lot of money sinks?

Getting there first (and bet your arse whole legions have bought kinah) and keeping the lead is what counts to these armchair internet warriors, in a year or two, it's hard to predict, the casuals might just get nyerked off how expensive everything is and how much they get pwnd by people even in lower lvl brackets because gear does count ^^

Personally I voted for banning gold buyers as well, consider it a favour, before gold sellers get so desperate they hack the pants off their former customers.

What I find the most ironic about gold sellers and farmers is that when you buy that million kinah and then buy various things off the broker, there's a fair chance you're buying from then, so you're giving them their money back which they can sell to you later

And are you absolutely, 100% sure those 2 guildies weren't buying kinah/botting? Unless it is a IRL friend, I tend to take with a grain of salt any claims of innocence because you never know. I actually wonder how many of these "OMG, I got banned and I didn't do anything!!!" posts in general actually are from people that did buy kinah and/or did botting. Yeah, I don't doubt there were too many undeserved bans here, but I doubt it was nearly as many as people seem to think + forums usually draw the people that aren't happy, not the people that are happy/got the issue solved fast.
