We have said 2009 (or early 2009 on occasions), and that's as detailed as we can get at the moment. Once we know more specifically, we will let you know.

I have no idea on whats going on.. rly im so confused now.. this or that or this or that. Honestly I don't want to sound harsh but I'm rly sick and tired of all that waiting. I don't want to sound mean but honestly I'm also bored of listening "we dont know yet" (rly no hard feelings just my honest opinion). One thing I don't get, why TIG would announce in first days of Aug that they will reveal infos on 13th, if it wasn't correct?

Anyway, this wasn't new for anyone, after theyve announced PEs noone could expected a Q1 release.


The real news here is that even if Korea will have an OB later this year, the game still won't be out till Q1-09.

5. Game launch schedule
NCsoft has successfully completed the third stage of closed beta testing for Aion on July
20. Beta testers were able to play Aion’s core features including Realm vs. Realm (RvR)
in the Abyss, a designated zone where the two factions, Elyos and Asmodians,
constantly battle for various fortresses as well as abundant item crafting, new quests,
better user interface, and higher level character advancement.
NCsoft plans to start an open beta testing and official launch in 4Q this year.
For major overseas markets, we expect to launch the game within three to six months
from the launch in Korea.
