When you have professionals translate texts they ofc translate it so it makes sense in the other language, if that wasn't the case you could use machine translation for the game and be done in no time. I don't see the problem there.
I also doubt there will be any voice acting done by english voice actors, MAYBE for a tutorial to get some basics explained(as seen in L2) other than that i doubt actual talking will be ingame, but who knows I guess ppl that have played the game already, or go to the GC in Leipzig could tell us more.
And battle sounds will not be created again, cause battles sound the same all over the world, only commands would be different, but I think they will be like general shouts etc. so no real voice acting necessary there either.
Actually for NA/EU it's even better to keep korean in for casting and other voice-acting, because it sounds "different" and a lil mystical to us.

It just seems a lot of people are confusing when the game was first announced to when the game will be released. Aion was announced in mid 2006 to be in development and we were never promised a official release date. People need to relax and stop throwing false information around because it causes nothing but negativity in the forums. It's only been a little over 2 years of waiting. Really that is not bad at all considering we are getting preview events in Q1 2009 and possible release after.

As much as I hate to believe what TIG said, I can't say it's not impossible. Previews are in January which means that OB wouldn't be available for us until after that. And unless OB is like a week or so, I can't see how the game will launch any time before March. What TIG is unofficial, but not unfounded. So maybe I wouldn't say mid 2009, but I wouldn't expect it any time before March either.

Preview events will serve as open beta in terms of feedback gathering/stress testing/guessing how many players there will be at release, right after preview events, expect a release.

Isn't the preview event prior to OB? My understanding was that it was something different from OB and it served exactly what it meant, a preview, not a beta.

There maybe preview events to test Aion but still not hearing anything about an OB as of yet, and not even hoping there will be one as i can't see the need for one to happen.

Hm, I see, I didn't read that update. However, I must disagree that there shouldn't be an OB because I'm not looking forward to having the servers crash left and right which we can expect if they don't even bother to stress test the servers. Burning Crusade had a ton of crashes and lagged quite a bit and that's keeping their budget into consideration so unless they are absolutely confident that the servers won't blow up, I would recommend an OB. Not to mention that the fact that most of us will be sitting around (again) waiting for updated info instead of playing to at least keep our interest going is rather irritating to know. However, if the preview event is in place of OB, then it's quite possible that it'll be released before March.

Re-read my last post. This was already asked and replied by Ayase, these preview events will help for stress testing also.
