i have no problem with this, but if there is a monthly fee im hoping for it to be 10$ a month as far as it will go. if not and if i could pay a year package online that would b great for me becuz i wouldn't have to try and keep up with all of this payment every month

The $14.99 model has been used successfully in many MMOs and Aion has good precedents to continue the tradition.

When commenting on these forums one thing I've noticed is a lot of people complain/ask for change based on their own limitations/shortcomings/desire for EASYMODE, not whether the system is actually working well or not. For the majority of P2P gamers I would assume $15/mo is not an outrageous price. If you're a minor with a low monthly allowance/have other goodies you'd rather be spending your money on, that's not our problem.

if this like World of Warcraft Game Card 60 Days and price is 14.99 dollars...
I'm so sure Aion will complate kill WOW... and I only hope they will continue Aion until we reach level 100...
I will use my credit card if it 14.99 and could hold my game time if i dont play/...

I couldnt wait if the next Aion patch we could go back in time when the 1st war begin and try to save the tower..

it's 14.99 per month to cheaper monthly rates for longer amounts of time...

When you set up your account you can specify which rate you wish to pay for at this point.

It is a monthly subscription. I know this because while purchasing the digital CE version, it gave me the option to purchase game time in tiers of 1 month, 3 months all the way to a year's subscription. Ultimately 3 months (which is what I chose) came up to $40 USD ($39.99).

To all Steam users if you look at Aion on Steam it will say "Monthly subscription fee required to play ? a valid credit card or game time card is required. Internet connection required ? player is responsible for all applicable internet fees." So yeah hope this answers any doubts about monthly fees
