Will There Be Mounts

I dont know if this has been asked but will Aion have horse mounts or anything that fits into the mounts category

There likely won't be mounts, as we get wings after completing a quest. I'd rather free-fly then rely on having to mount or dismount.

It's always a good option to have mounts, they're just fun to ride, and adds more to the game. Yes, we will be able to fly with wings, but why not have certain mounts that are ground only, and allow you to move faster on ground. In the sky, there could be flying mounts as well, possibly moving slower than regular flying, but helping you damage enemies.

Good ideas, but I just don't see it happening. Maybe in a future patch if it succeeds.

With the free flight I hardly see why we need mounts. Perhaps for ground, I'm not too certain if flying will be faster than running / ground movement but honestly it should be, it looks like it shows air currents and jet streams although that could be just fancy graphics / the old system where you couldn't have free flight so i guess it could show various effects that were pre-scripted, regardless though flying should be at least 50% faster in most cases, I'd rather no mounts and keep to the Aion lore as close as possible, it doesn't look like Aion should / would have mounts really. But that final judgment is for NCSoft to decide as they created it and know it way better than any of us.

initially we were supposed to have mounts available depending on the zone we are (?). might have change though.

transports....hmmm Chosen could have airships...and Fallen could have...THE DOOM TRAIN FROM FF series!...nah j/k

hmmmm....some kind of large demon? I dunno but not likely...

maybe clan airships that can move to the battlefield(Abyss) and around the skies?

ehh i just want to know if there will be horse mounts cause horse mounts look cool and adding to the note that there will be the ability to fly will every living human-like being have that ability?

Airships like those in the Final Fantasy games, that are neither futuristic, nor historic, but fantasy would be cool. The structure/designs are also really nice looking.

apparently on the 'competitor' site (aionfuse.com) there is a topic that HAD a picture from gamemeca, but no one has said much about it at all, nor any denial/confirmation of whether it is relevant or not. conveniently, that image is now link-broken. go figure.
