BOTS <====they are the root of gold sellers and spammers. No botting = no constant flow of ingame cash to sell = no spammers or "goldsell.com" shops.
I suggest serverside syntax scanning PAIRED with clientside Rootkit (I would preffer a Rootkit better then trying to outDPS "GFHGFHGFH, SASSSAFAS, and GIRLFAS" just to get a kill quest done. Actually walk over to the "City of heroes" department and ask them to do the work for you NCSOFT, cause bots didnt exsist there. They maintained tabbed targetting and had no easy mode /target next mob to kill with my bot. REMOVE slash commends that are used for targetting as well as "/extract vitality" there is no point for this game with its click item activation to have a SLASH commend to "/Target umblia" and a SLASH commend to "/EXTRACT" |

While atm bots and fortress crashes are pretty critical, I'd like to see better end game itemization. For example, instead of having all the orange chain abyss gear have magic boost on it, get a set that has physical crit or attack power on it. I'm using this example because I play a chanter specifically, but I know other classes have some problems with gear attributes on end game gear.
Granted the majority of the community isn't there yet, and neither am I, but if it's 'fixed' then it gives me one more thing to look forward too. |

I chose bots because I worry about the economy. I don't want it to be ruined.
Next in line (for me) though would be all the little fixes/enhancements that can't possibly take too long to implement but together would contribute largely to my personal enjoyment of the game. Things that would make it feel polished. Yes the big issues are problematic, but sometimes those little irritations are the ones that build up and break the camel's back, as they say. For me it would be things like (in no particular order): - implement a feature where private store settings are saved - make it so I don't rediscover areas in Panda every single time I run through it - fix the clicking issue so that it never happens that when I click to target it doesn't "take" - let us change the chat window background color so that it is no longer illegible on certain terrains - adjust the warehouse view so I don't have to scroll to see all my items - Please fix the "you have stopped gathering" bug. The more I think about it, the more I am sure this is not intended, since the game already has a a way to fail gathering a node where you fail at the activity. (If it is intended, please implement it in a different way.) - let me add myself to party view - give me more control over where things are on my screen - remember where I move my map to - stop the drop-down menu that you get when you right-click on a person from appearing accidentally right after you stop running and try to target someone by left clicking but the game still thinks the other mouse button is pressed. - fix the problem where sometimes you have to relog to get quest item spawns to be click-able/usable. - fix the problem in the Trade Broker where when you sometimes refine your searches (such as limit the item level) it resets the other entered search criteria. Just some examples. I know not everyone may agree with my points (like for example I know some people would rather see private stores go away instead of being enhanced) but I think you get the idea. Take the time to fix the little things when you can! Bots and crashes are big problems that might take some development time to fix, but knocking the easy fixes out when possible in between would, I think, make us all feel satisfied that progress is happening. |

Definitely bots at the moment, especially in Beluslan areas. I can't tell you how many I've already reported one day then I come back the new day and they are STILL there. What the hell NCSoft, did you just put /autohuntingreport in the game just to feed our egos or are you actually going to use that list to do something? Lucky for me being a sorcerer, I can just outdps them(since most of the time they are melee class) with Inferno :P, but it still annoys me that nothing is being done about them.

my problems with Aion...
the grind is too long/Monotonous. too little xp gains from npc kills. instance drop rates too low. quest xp is horrible. no benefit for killing higher leveled mobs. xp caps off, reduced loot. prevents players from seeking a challenge. no incentive for grouping. xp is not evenly distributed, xp is worse than solo xp potential. not enough places to go for viable grouping. current Abyss system discourages PvP. costs money, risk losing Abyss points from deaths, low point gains from kills, level difference is way too severe. flight time too restrictive. could probably list more. __________________ ![]() |

Bots, for sure. You can't imagine the grief that we have to spend hours doing a certain task, and another person leave a bot to do. In addition to ending the economy of a game.

Bots interfering with content/economy isn't a content issue, it's a bot issue, because the 'problem' would not be there if the bots weren't there. 'durrrr NC needs to change the content of the game to accommodate the bots' (which is exactly what you were implying) is probably one of the dumbest things I've seen on these forums yet, and I've seen a lot ... |

Bots and crashing are my two most pressing issues.
Bots because they grind on the mobs that are required for quests and because they mess up the economy. I will never say I am forced to buy gold (cause that's dumb - seriously, play the game people) but it does make it difficult for people who play honestly. Crashes because - well duh. Can't play the game while logged out now can you? :P Everything else I feel can be gradually tweaked over time like the UI, loot tables, etc. None of that are game stoppers. |

I voted bots, there's so many of them that I can't even will myself to level so I can take part in fortress sieges, and I do crash alot. I can't play in Sanctum without crashing two times in the space of ten minutes.
I'm barely playing as it is, seeing the people who botted from day one farming level 50 instances, killing world bosses and monopolizing the market on the loot they drop makes me want to quit and go play a free to play game. But I do want to see this game improve, as it has potential to be a very enjoyable game provided the developers don't take the path of least resistance and let it rot along with the Lineage games. |

Bots.
These things are cancer. A lot of people don't mind them, but many do. And they symbolize a lack of developer support for the game. As bots take over people will leave--not immediately, but they will--leaving a bot-ridden ghost town of a game. It's a shame. From what I've seen Aion has a lot of potential and seems to fill a real niche in the mmo genre. NC needs to get serious, and quickly. If things stay this way it will significantly limit Aion's playerbase. |
