My recent Aion rant on MMORPG.com ^^

So in doing some research on the MMORPG.com boards after posting my contest, I've found, not surprisingly, many of the stereotypes we've fought against still showing up. In an attempt to raise that "Hype-meter" more (hey, it can only help you contest goers!) I've posted a long Aion article on the MMORPG forums explaining everything I could think of to try and kill some of those stereotypes and get those people over there to open their eyes to what we all know and love.

Good, I was thinking about doing the same thing. It drives me mad that a few people on there today said it just looks pretty. HOW WOULD THEY KNOW!? 99% of em haven't done anything but LOOK at pictures, so of course all they know is that it LOOKS good lol. If they actually looked into the game they'd fall in love just like us

The only thing I'd change is stating that endgame only takes place in the Abyss, because we were recently told it'll be mainly Abyss, but that Elyos and Asmodians will each have their respective areas for endgame material on their sides of the world as well ^^ Great article though knite, you rock bro

Great post, but you make it sound like PvE and PvP are seperate, and that the abyss is for end game PvP, that might be true, but all of the best PvE spots are also in the abyss, doesnt matter if you're at end game or not, just that theres risk of running into the 2 enemy factions while PvEing in the Abyss, your own territory is more of a safe zone, but even still it has portals.

Can not believe people still tag Aion as grind fest, there lot of coments on that hype about " just another grind fest".
Can not believe even now after 3 betas , there still so many retards wich see Aion like this.
Of course not that i want those retards in Aion, but with theyr low hype and hypocrite coments will scare others away too.

With alot of luck, maybe people will start using Aion like WoW to compare new mmos. "Oh, so just a gimp Aion clone eh?" One can dream, can't they?

You sir receive a golf clap! Nice summary. It is funny how after your thread people began hammering it with their prejudices. Why call it a clone of any type until they actually play it. Though nearly every Fantasy book has Tolkien's influence you don't hear people crying about it.
