There ARE eye color in character's properties, but for now there are NO option to freely change it in the editor. AFAIK, different eye colors are predefined into character presets, so you can see screenshots with several colors.

Ahhhh ok thanks for clearing that up. To me it would seem like a simple thing to do so why hold it back? Im sure a lot of players want to try this option out. Then again im not a dev. and its probably something they're having problems with maybe. -shrugs-

Exactly. It would be useful elsewhere though, I;m sure. So I hope this isn't the only place they decide to use this once the game gets going for a while. Situations like that will most likely open up depending on what's going on around there (quests, popular mobs, etc), but we'll have to see in beta/release.

The instance/channel thing is the same thing they have on GW. Like US1 US2 US3 etc. Its just a drop down box that you can select where to go - you teleport to the same exact location but in a different instance of the world. Can only be done in towns i think though.

Thanks for posting! This stuff is really interesting. Big battles seem fun Like all the previous posters I am disappointed in no swimming, but maybe they will work that in eventually. The eye color info also surprises me.

The channel part isn't exactly like that, but it is for the beginner areas of the game, just so there isn't too much competition.

I never really used swimming and I found underwater quests to be a pain but with the graphics and design of Aion I'd love to jump in and have a look, I'm sure underwater scenario's for Aion would look splendid.

I don't even need underwater, swimming only on the surface would be fine aswell. In its current state it is ridiculous, so there's definitely a need for smg to change that.

the pvp rvr questions were the ones i liked the best, and the reason i don't think this game will be as good as it would be without RvR... AP farming will be rampant. i can guarantee that.
