Anuxinamoon, since you didn't reply, and I needed a few hours away from my design assignment, I took the liberty of coloring one of your concepts. I changed the wings compared to the armor, to suit my two fave's. I hope its ok. If its a problem, I'll gladly just take it down again
There's a few shading mistakes (some places should be darker, primarily), looking at it now, but its 1am and I need sleep now I might get around to making some more elaborate soroundings, who knows :S
Anyway, here it is... and as I said, if its a problem, I'll remove it

haha awesome ^^Sorry I forgot to tell you you can colour it as long as you credit Stephanie Everett ect ect. I would ask that you remove the Kalescent logo and just credit my name thanks

With the concepts I made it so anyone can equip any wings shoes, gloves, clothes and head amour as long as the are at or above the required level. So a lvl 60 can still equip a lvl 50 wings or halo but have the lvl 60 everything else.
Also the levels streatch to lvl 120 I think, I just never got around to finnishing it.

Basically you are an half angel half human till lvl 60 where you turn to a full angel and can take two paths, the healer or the monk/fighter angel. Represented by design 60-2 and 60-1. After that the higher levels are only showing off the Seraphim line (healer line) hence why they have multiple wings. The Thrones line (fighter monk type line) have the bigger tougher wings with spikes and stuff later on. I haven't added those to that flash file.

But I would really like to see customizable wings or even being able to lvl up your wings depending on either how much you use them or how much exp you have earned.

I would say that the lowbie wings, would just be for looks. lvl 1-10

and from 10-20 would be the, faster running speed. You could jump higher, and glide, but not actually fly.

and you would have to do quests, and purchase certain things to upgrade them once you reached a certain lvl.

but i love this idea overall, i think it would be somthing worthwhile

Ok here is the idea. At level 1, you get the Fledgling's Wings(or some other newby style name.) these wings let you fly, but only at 1/3 of max speed, and only maybe 1/3 as high as the flight roof, cuz unfortunatly there HAS to be a roof, or BOOM! goes the server.

Anyway, at level 10/15 you get the Beginner's wings, or some less newby name. These let you let you fly at 1/2 speed, and at 2/3 max altitude and do all the acrobatic loopedy loops and corkskrews and other stuff, but just not as perfect as the higher versions.

Then at 20/25 you get Flyer's wings which let you go full altitude, but 3/4 speed.

Finaly at 40, you get the Angel/Demon/Uber/(insert wickedly cool name of your choice here) wings, that let you go full speed and full hieght.

This would keep the newbeis out of "restricted airspace" and also prevent them from accidently flying in to a pack of Super Steroid DragonHornetRavenVultures that eat your face.

Well, looking at the concept art for the world, it appears there will be no roof. You fly up and up and up and you're on the other side of the world. The two halves connected by the tower of eternity. Its an open interior of a planet.

IMHO I think that your wings or ability to fly should be earned first. I actually thought thats how they were going to do it: Having to quest to be able to fly/get wings. From what I saw from the videos, the wings just appear probably making it like an ability or something similar. Maybe some sort of ascension quest.
Customization of your wings would be awesome, but would also make gameplay more laggy, and possibly increase the specs needed to run the game (and I know some people just dont have the pcs that could handle too much customization/variety of things in one area )
I just want wings ^^ If anything attracted me to this game, it was definately being able to fly. So I dont wanna get to greedy on this subject.

From the things i read on this forum i can see that many people want a lot of customization in this game. Well why wouldn't they make customization for wings? Not only how your wings look (Wing Colours, Wing Patterns, etc...) but also attribute points for wings.

For Example:

You have several attributes: Speed, Movement, Altitude etc...
Then each time you lvl you earn 1 attribute point wich you can spend on one of these attributes. And lets say that the maximum points an attribute can earn is 20-25.

This way you will have A LOT of flying styles.

The biggest problem is lack of wing styles. All the wings i've seen from official screenshots have been feathered. Where are the fairy/butterly/devil/robotic/magical types?

Yeah, it's going to look pretty silly if you have some arch-demon with little red feathery wings.

all screenshots and videos are really old (read: pre-alpha) and were used for demo purposes. these may or may not be the only wing styles in the game. also note, we have yet to see the fallen or dragons so we don't even know what their basic pre-beta wings look like.
