First bots in Aion

I'm not sure why but I generally get VERY peeved when i see loads because it means

1. The company doesn't care about their customers, and you're faithfully paying them for good service
2. bots fill up space + lag servers with non players
3. If there's as many as L2 you're pretty much not playing an online game at all
4. Bots get very annoying when they steal your kills, loot your monsters and pk you
5. Very unfair for the players who actually play
6.
7. 'Usually' overprice rare items
8. Continue the botting trade by selling their gold, characters, items to lazy people
9. VERY ANNOYING IF A RARE DROPS AND THEY TAKE IT
10. Ruin many gaming experiences
11. If botters bot because they don't have time to play, then why play at all? No one if forcing them to play 24/7 + you're paying for the game + the program to bot so you can have a couple of minutes to show off stuff you didn't earn? Even so how do you get the time to even play?
12. Frustration
13. Many people quit because of it
14. They steal possible good loot from other players
15. I'm done...


So yeah.. I hope they make sure botters DON'T come at all to their servers and make such a wonderful and beautiful game go right into a trash can by ruining other gamers experiences. I mean 1 or 2, or ever 3 or 4 bots are fine, but more than that! Then.... Well you get it.

Whats worse you cant do ANYTHING about them in Aion...since u cant pk

But its ok I think its just the people running ncsoft on our side of the world, I would rather play with people i cant understand than with "people" that dont talk at all. I hear L2 in korea has much less of a bot problem.

Kite 7+ mobs right by the bot.....Aion's agro system is odd that the agro crosses over to whoever's attacking/casting instead....

There's almost no bot problem on Korean L2 servers...75% of L2's bot problem was NCsoft allowing the bots.

Well bout darn time but I think that game has seen its end already I kept comming back to that game hoping it would get better and it did but it took WAY to long for that to happen and now that Aion is around the corner I wont give L2 another glance too bad actually I enjoyed that game minus the grind/bots. Castle seiges and raid bosses = epic!

I said they are doing it on a daily basis, not that they have banned all of them. L2 is infested with bots and you can't ban a paying customer account unless you're 100% sure, but at least they are doing something about it now and people are getting scared. With a more controllable enviroment, such as their other games (TR, CoX, GW) they should have no issues. L2's design is perfect to bot and botting actually gets you a huge advantage over the rest, L2 situation cant be easy to control.

That being said, L2 is L2 and Aion is Aion, should I repeat why design decissions lead to different outcomes?

its too late. if they'll ban all botters they have to close all EU servers, because ther are no legit players no more (may be 1% - low lvl noobs). I didnt play at NA servers but I think situation is the same there. Yes Aion is Aion, but devs are the same. I just dont want the repetition of l2 history.

Ha Idiot GMs who are new to the game. Before I quit they seemed to have hired a couple new GMs who actually got on once in awhile to ban bots and do whatever. ( like you need to actually run a test to see if its a bot, come on now..) LAWL. L2=Fail. Anyways.
I hope Aion is different and maybe they'll have better devs/gms/w/e in Aion.

Botters play multiple accounts, longer. Why would a profit seeking company listen to a few people cry when a single person running 9 accounts (who never complains) pays them twice as much?

Because they care about you? LMAO. AionWalker will be the mandatory add-on by May 1st, if it doesn't get bundled with the dvds at launch.
