Semi-back on topic question, when and how long are their servers maintenance, if it's been decided yet? And will there be a separate section for a collection of patch updates? They'd easily get lost in the general discussion section.

When NA/EU gets server names, etc., we'll have subforums for them. As for the Korean and Chinese and other releases...we don't care about those.

I seriously hope there will be a complete wipe after Eu/Us OB. Being able to keep the characters from beta and getting headstarts, etc are in my opinion a beyond horrific idea.

I hate to compare games with WoW, but regarding beta / launch issues, Blizzard has nailed it.

An MMo launch is in my opinion by far the most fun when everyone are starting with blank sheets at lvl 1.

I'm sure there are, but AS is an English Language forum so regardless of who posts there, the English Language versions of the game are the ones the site will focus on, seemingly.

but OB is open to anyone. theres no difference between retail and OB in terms of fairness.

if anything it gives developers more exposure to end game content from the players a month before release.

Exactly my thoughts!

If there is a week of open beta, it means you can start playing a week earlier. And you get your first week for free!
If they wipe the characters after the beta, oh well, not a big problem. But why would they?
