This is just one thread where people ask for more info/pictures/videos etc, you can also tell that people love all the pictures and videos posted just by looking in that forum.

Secondly just because you joined earlier doesnt mean your more important, If many new people join the site and interact with each other but not u then technically your not an important part of the "community" anymore so seniority doesnt mean much unless your a mod/admin/or contribute to the site in some other way besides posting. Also your unique ip is worth the same as anothers ip to the site (if your both from the same country) so unless you donate money to the site a new person and you are equal in that respect as well.

I think you misunderstood my words. I wasn't talking about the "importance" of seniority, but understanding our identity and purpose of being here.

I don't blame you or any other being here as direct result of getting lucky enough to get your hands on the KOB. What irritates me is that most people in the condition you and Lethe are, still think these forums are some kind of BETA Testing Site, that will help out with all of your questions, because many of you obviously can't read nor understand Korean. Well, it is not, I bet 80% of the people here don't have access to the KOB.

It was open for KOREANS!!!

All of the non-korean NA/EU/CHINA/ETC players that played during the open beta were either "invited" by a Korean or NCSoft. The rest committed identity theft.

Um.. sorry I thought it'd be obvious I meant for that localized region.

My point was that they had no reason to wipe because people playing OB didn't have a an unfair advantage.

Oh - On that particular point I agree. However, when new content is added right before a commercial launch i don't really see how a server wipe would be a bad thing...

The fact that the main and most "powerful" point of your argument focuses on my date of official registration on these forums speaks volumes about your arguments.

Since when did a join date equate to an ability for thoughtful, comprehensive discussion of an issue? I'm confident enough in myself that I don't equate my intelligence, ability to read, and research, etc. to the join date on an online forum. Also, I haven't actually submitted any closed or open beta information/material. (From what it sounds like, your arguments point to all open beta information as "garbage" and "spoilers.")

On the contrary, the people who are delivering this so-called garbage have been extremely and highly respectable members of the community, such as Hellrose. I, for one, am forever grateful for Hellrose's presence and translations, and will continue to regard her as one of the most valuable members of this forum.

In the end, is this such a huge issue that insults need to be thrown out several times in one sentence (let's take the above sentence as an example: "desperate nuts" "devour... garbage" "no idea of... community")? After all, it's very easy to avoid such "spoilers" by simply looking at the title of this thread, and thinking, "Ah, it says 'Aion Korean Launch.' That might mean it contains spoilers. I'll avoid that thread, for now."

Such a thing isn't very hard to do.

As a parting thought, I did want to point out that people can have very different concepts of what a "spoiler" is. To me, a spoiler is giving out the ending of a book I want to read; it doesn't necessarily mean educating myself about game play, game updates, and the status (and contents) of the Korean beta. It is prudent to be careful before possibly elevating oneself to the role of the "speaker of the people."

to point out Hellrose been doing updates for many many many months we also had ppl her on AIONSOurce that use to translate stuff for mark so he can sticky them
