There is no XP loss during PvP afaik, so don't worry about that.

Mark, 101% that it is not completly buybackable (I even confirmed it now by korean players) , but I would say around 80% is buybackable, so its not really a loss... and since Mark and some others didnt even recognize it, I guess people don't care too much about this loss.

The arenas are just for practice, no rewards involved, everyone can get inside and join your duel, they are fun, but they get old. It's not like in WoW, it's like in L2.

I was worried about this feature.
I played L2 a long time ago and didn't like to lose XP when I died for mobs or players, because to win XP again was very hard.

Yeah, it's just a FFA fun zone with no penalties.

Eh, buying back XP gets more expensive the higher your level is, but you're also making a lot more money the higher level you get so it doesn't matter in the long run.

Can you downlevel of some sort with xp loss? I still don't see any reason for death penalthy:/

1) No you can't downlevel from XP loss
2) Well I think its a matter of taste. I for one think that death penalties are a great way to make people a bit more careful and thinking about their decisions. So in my eyes the Aion death penalty is much too low anyway ^^ - but at least he is here.

It mostly applies to pve, It makes you think about what you're getting into and plan your attack better. If you rush into a new area and bang away you might be in for a shock. Anyway you really don't die very much unless you did what I did and rush into an area full of leets mobs (I did it 3 times before i got the message across in my big fat skull)
